Peter Luts (born 14 December 1971 in Heusden-Zolder) is a Belgian DJ, remixer and record producer. He is a member of the vocal trance act Lasgo and the producer behind the group AnnaGrace (formerly known as Ian Van Dahl).[ citation needed ]

Luts, whose musical career began at age 12, has released various tracks under the aliases Astroline, Abnea, Heliac, Outrowz, Groovewatchers, and others, while working with Lasgo.

He wrote and produced "Love Is the Message", which was the anthem of the 8th edition of the City Parade in 2005.[ citation needed ]

In 2006, Luts released his first single, "What a Feeling", under his full name alongside his newest project Dominico. The track debuted at number 24 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart for the week ending 5 August, climbing to number one in its 21 October 2006 issue. [1] For this song, he was awarded at the International Dance Music Awards at WMC (Miami, U.S.) with Best Hi-NRG/Euro track.[ citation needed ] There he met New York-based house diva Barbara Tucker. By the end of 2007, they released the single "One".

In 2008, Luts associated with house producer Basto and released the single "On My Own". He also released the singles "Can't Fight This Feeling" and "The Rain".

Peter Luts confirmed on Belgian radio in 2008 that Evi Goffin was not returning to the band, after choosing to become a full-time mother. Luts announced around the same time that he was looking for a new vocalist for the band. Together with Belgian TV station JIMtv, he organized a televised search for a new vocalist, that came to pick Van Dael as the singer.

However Goffin later stated that she did not want to leave Lasgo, but had several conflicts with her management. On April 21, 2009 Dave McCullen became Evi Goffin's boyfriend and had kids.

Astroline were a Belgian Eurodance project by DJ/producer Bart Smolders, Christophe Chantzis and Stefan Wuyts, who were together from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s. They are best known for their hit single "Feel The Fire". Vocals were done by Kathleen Goossens. Other producers involved were Gert Corvers and Peter Luts. On stage singer Kathleen Goossens was accompanied by Gert Covers on keyboard and two dancers.

Scoop was a Belgian dance group. Originally it was a solo project by producer Daniel Maze. After the first release "Wings of Love" in 1998, Fiocco producer Jan Vervloet joined Scoop. The production was signed in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, UK, Norway, Finland and Spain. "Something" is the debut single of Belgian music group Lasgo. It was first released on 15 June 2001 as the lead single from their debut album, Some Things (2001). It became a hit in the band's native Belgium, peaking at No. 5 in the Flanders region, and reached the top 10 in several mainland European countries. On 25 February 2002, it was released in the United Kingdom, reaching No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. It also peaked within the top 40 in the United States. In 2013, the song was re-released with new vocals from Jelle instead of Evi. The remade song also features vocals from British pop singer Taylor Jones.

AnnaGrace Belgian trance group

AnnaGrace, formerly Ian Van Dahl, was a Belgian progressive house, electro house, and deep house music project fronted by Belgian singer Annemie Coenen and produced by DJ and record producer Peter Luts. The project first achieved success in 2008 with the hit singles "You Make Me Feel," "Let the Feelings Go," "Love Keeps Calling" and the 2010 debut AnnaGrace album Ready to Dare. Today, Coenen continues to tour worldwide as AnnaGrace and Ian Van Dahl performing her biggest house and trance hits.
