Petrosains, also known as Petrosains, The Discovery Centre is a Malaysian science and technology museum located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur within Suria KLCC, Petronas Twin Towers. Petrosains was a brainchild of 4th Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and established on 25 March 1999. It is owned and operated by Petrosains Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian oil and gas conglomerate Petronas. [1] [2] Tengku Nasariah Tengku Syed Ibrahim is the CEO of Petrosains until 2018. [3] The current CEO is Ezarisma Azni Mohamad.

Contents

Petrosains also a principal organizer of the annual Petrosains Science Festival since its inauguration in 2013. [4]

Tan Sri Tengku Razaleigh bin Tengku Mohd Hamzah is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Gua Musang from August 1986 to November 2022 and for Ulu Kelantan from August 1974 to August 1986. He is the longest-serving MP by serving from 1974 to 2022 for 48 years. He served as Deputy Minister of Water, Land and Natural Resources in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and former Minister Xavier Jayakumar Arulanandam from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Raub from May 2018 to November 2022, State Leader of the Opposition of Pahang and the MLA for Mentakab from May 2013 to May 2018 and member of the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS). Tengku Tan Sri Dato' Haji Mohamad Rizam bin Tengku Abdul Aziz is a member of the Kelantan Royal Family, who is the Tengku Temenggong of Kelantan. He is a cousin of the current Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V.
