It is published monthly from November through June,with the November issue dedicated to covering the previous year's term of the Supreme Court of the United States. The journal also publishes the online-only Harvard Law Review Forum,a rolling journal of scholarly responses to the main journal's content. The law review is one of three honors societies at the law school,along with the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and the Board of Student Advisors. Students who are selected for more than one of these three organizations may only join one.
Loma Linda University (LLU) is a private Seventh-day Adventist health sciences university in Loma Linda,California. William Thaddeus Coleman Jr. was an American attorney and judge. Coleman was the fourth United States Secretary of Transportation,from March 7,1975,to January 20,1977,and the second African American to serve in the United States Cabinet. On December 7,2006,the George W. Bush administration's Department of Justice ordered the unprecedented midterm dismissal of seven United States attorneys. Congressional investigations focused on whether the Department of Justice and the White House were using the U.S. attorney positions for political advantage. Allegations were that some of the attorneys were targeted for dismissal to impede investigations of Republican politicians or that some were targeted for their failure to initiate investigations that would damage Democratic politicians or hamper Democratic-leaning voters. The U.S. attorneys were replaced with interim appointees,under provisions in the 2005 USA PATRIOT Act reauthorization.
Will A. Gunn is an American lawyer and former officer in the American Armed Forces. Gunn was appointed by President Barack Obama to be the new general counsel for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. He attended the United States Air Force Academy,graduating in 1980,and Harvard Law School,graduating in 1986. While at Harvard,he was elected President of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. In 1990 Gunn was a White House Fellow and Associate Director of Cabinet Affairs. Gunn also has a Masters of Laws degree in Environmental Law from George Washington University Law School and a Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
Steven Gill Bradbury is an American attorney and government official who served as the General Counsel of the United States Department of Transportation. He previously served as Acting Assistant Attorney General (AAG) from 2005 to 2007 and Principal Deputy AAG from 2004 to 2009,heading the Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) in the U.S. Department of Justice during President George W. Bush's second term.
