Phyllis Yvonne Stickney is an American actress and comedian. Stickney is known for her main role on the sitcom New Attitude (1990). She also has appeared in films including New Jack City (1991), Jungle Fever (1991), Malcolm X (1992), What's Love Got to Do with It (1993) and How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1998). [1]

Daisy Carter is a fictional character from the American CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. Created and introduced by former head writer Maria Arena Bell, the character was portrayed by Yvonne Zima. She debuted during the episode airing on October 30, 2009 under an alias, later revealed to be the daughter of Sheila Carter and Tom Fisher. Bell created Daisy and stated Sheila was back in a new form. Daisy later raped Daniel Romalotti, drugging him to believe he was sleeping with his then wife Amber Moore. She became pregnant with his child, and gave birth to a girl, Lucy, in 2011. However, she later abandoned her in a church and the child was placed in an illegal adoption ring. After Daisy was sent to prison for her actions, Daniel's mother Phyllis Summers gained custody of Lucy after Daniel gave up his parental rights. Phyllis Barber is a writer of fiction and non-fiction, often set in the Western United States. She was raised in Boulder City, Nevada and Las Vegas as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She studied piano at Brigham Young University and moved to Palo Alto, California where her husband studied law at Stanford. There Barber finished her degree in piano at San Jose State College in 1967, and taught and performed piano in California. She studied creative writing at the University of Utah and received an MFA in writing from Vermont College in 1984. She started her writing career by publishing short stories in journals and magazines in the 1980s.
