Line 22 (Pinggu line) of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line under construction in Beijing and Hebei Province.
It will run from Dongdaqiao station in Chaoyang District to Pinggu station in Pinggu District with 21 stations. The length of the line is 81.2 km (50.5 mi),and 53.8 km (33.4 mi) will be underground. [3] The line will use 8-car Type D rolling stock [1] and will open in 2025. [2] [4]

The line was originally planned to begin at Dongfengbeiqiao station and will end at Juhewan station in Pinggu District. [6] [7]
However,in 2019,it was announced that the line will run in a different route. The line will still start in the urban center of Pinggu District. However when reaching Yanjiao the line will instead head south through Tongzhou District and run under Chaoyang Road between Line 6 and the Batong Line towards Beijing central business district (Beijing CBD). The original plan to terminate the line at Dongfengbeiqiao station is now reserved as long-term planning. This was done to serve more populated areas of the city and enhance integration between Beijing's city center and its new sub-center in Tongzhou District. [8]
The Batong Line of the Beijing Subway is an east–west rapid transit line in eastern Beijing. It extends Line 1 further east from Sihui in Chaoyang District to Universal Resort in Tongzhou District. Through operation with Line 1 started on August 29,2021.
Line 13 of the Beijing Subway is a metro line that serves the northern suburbs of Beijing. On a map,Line 13's route is shaped like an inverted U that arcs north of the city and connects residential suburbs in Haidian,Changping,and Chaoyang Districts with the 2nd Ring Road and Line 2 at Xizhimen and Dongzhimen. With the exception of Dongzhimen and a tunnel between Xi'erqi and Longze,all of Line 13's tracks and stations are located on the surface or elevated above ground. The line is 40.85 km (25.38 mi) and 16 of its 17 stations are on the surface. Line 13's color is yellow. During rush hour,the section between Xizhimen and Wudaokou Stations was reported in 2013 to be the second most congested section in the Beijing subway network,operating at 130% capacity.
Line 7 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in Beijing. It runs parallel and to the south of Line 1 and Batong line,from the Beijing West railway station in Fengtai District to Universal Resort in Tongzhou District. Like Line 6,Line 7 provides additional relief to the overcapacity Line 1 adding another east–west trunk line to the Beijing Subway network. The line uses 8-car Type B trains. Line 7's color is light orange.
Line 8 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in Beijing. It sits on the central axis of Beijing. Line 8's color is green. It is 49.5 km (30.8 mi) in length with 35 stations. The most recent extension is the central section from National Art Museum to Zhushikou,opened on 31 December 2021.
Line 6 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in Beijing. The line runs from Jin'anqiao in Shijingshan District to Lucheng in Tongzhou District. It serves important residential areas such as Changying,Chaoqing,and Dingfuzhuang,in addition to important commercial and business areas such as Financial Street,Beijing CBD and the sub-administrative center in Tongzhou District. Like Line 7,Line 6 provides relief to the parallel Line 1,which is the second most used subway line in Beijing,after Line 10. Line 6 is the second longest subway line in Beijing. A complete journey from end to end takes about an hour and 25 minutes on a local train and express trains reducing end to end travel time by 7 minutes.
The Fangshan Line of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in western Beijing that runs from Yancundong in Fangshan District north and east to Dongguantounan in Fengtai District. The line is 31.8 km (19.8 mi). It is mainly elevated,including 10 elevated stations and 6 underground stations. It allows residents of Beijing's western suburbs to connect to the rest of the Beijing Subway network. Fangshan line's color is orange.
The Yizhuang Line of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line that connects the Yizhuang Development Area with Beijing's subway network. The line is 23.23 km (14.43 mi) long with 14 stations,including six underground and eight elevated. It runs from Songjiazhuang in Fengtai District to Yizhuang Railway Station in Tongzhou District and passes through the southern Chaoyang and northern Daxing Districts. Total investment for the line was estimated at ¥1.2 billion. Construction began on December 8,2007 and the line opened on December 30,2010. Yizhuang line's color is magenta.
Line 15 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit rail line in northern Beijing. Line 15's color is purple.
Line 16 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in Beijing. It is 48.9 km (30.4 mi) in length with 30 stations. The line is fully underground.
Line 3 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line under construction in Beijing. It is expected to open by the end of September 2024. It will be colored rose red in system maps.

Fenzhongsi station(simplified Chinese:分钟寺站;traditional Chinese:分鐘寺站;pinyin:Fēnzhōngsìzhàn) is a subway station on Line 10 of the Beijing Subway. The station opened on 30 December 2012. The station is located in Fengtai District's Fenzhongsi,after which it is named.
Beijing Fengtai railway station is a railway station located in the Fengtai District of Beijing. It was renamed from Fengtai railway station to Beijing Fengtai railway station in 2021. The new railway station opened on 20 June 2022.
Haojiafu station is a station on Line 6 of the Beijing Subway. It is located in Lucheng,Tongzhou District. Construction began on September 20,2012.
Wanshousi station is a station on Line 16 of the Beijing Subway.
Ganjiakou station is a station on Line 16 of the Beijing Subway. The station was the southern terminus of the line until the opening of Yuyuantan Dongmen on December 31,2021.
Qinghe Xiaoyingqiao station is a subway station on the Changping line of the Beijing Subway. It opened on 4 February 2023. The station is reserved for a potential cross-platform transfer with Line 19 in the future.
Zuojiazhuang station is a station on the Line 17 of Beijing Subway. It opened on 30 December 2023.
