Pop Screen is a video feature compiling all of R.E.M.'s Document and Green -era promotional videos. It was released on video on July 1, 1990 and on DVD format (region 1 only) on August 22, 2000, both on the Warner Brothers label. [1]

Document is the fifth studio album by American rock band R.E.M., released on September 1, 1987 by I.R.S. Records. It was the first album by the band to be produced by Scott Litt.

Green is the sixth studio album by American rock band R.E.M., released on November 7, 1988 by Warner Bros. Records. Produced by the band and Scott Litt, it continued to explore political issues both in its lyrics and packaging. The band experimented on the album, writing major-key rock songs and incorporating new instruments into their sound including the mandolin, as well as switching their original instruments on other songs.

VHS Consumer-level analog video tape recording and cassette form factor standard

VHS is a standard for consumer-level analog video recording on tape cassettes. Developed by Victor Company of Japan (JVC) in the early 1970s, it was released in Japan on September 9, 1976 and in the United States on August 23, 1977.

The 35-minute release features promotional videos to all of the band's singles and several album-only tracks from Document and Green. It also includes the video for "Talk About The Passion" from Murmur . This particular video was made to promote the compilation Eponymous which was released between Document and Green, and this is the reason for its otherwise anachronistic inclusion.

Eponymous is the first greatest hits and the second compilation album by American alternative rock band R.E.M., released in 1988. It was their last authorized release on I.R.S. Records, to whom they had been contracted since 1982, having just signed with Warner Bros. Records.

It includes the uncensored version of "Pop Song 89," which has three topless women dancing along with a topless Michael Stipe. In preparation for television airings, MTV asked Stipe, who directed it himself, to censor the three topless women. Instead, Stipe superimposed black bars on the chests of all four dancers, himself included, and stated, "a nipple is a nipple."

William Thomas Berry is a retired American musician who was the drummer for the alternative rock band R.E.M. Although best known for his solid, economical drumming style, Berry played many other instruments including guitar, bass guitar, and piano, both for songwriting and on R.E.M. albums. After 17 years with the band, Berry left the music industry to become a farmer, and has since maintained a low profile, making sporadic reunions with R.E.M. and appearing on other artists' recordings.

He contributed to a majority of the band's musical compositions.

Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage 1982–2011 is a 2011 greatest hits album from alternative rock band R.E.M. Intended as a coda on their career, this is the first compilation album that features both their early work on independent record label I.R.S. Records in addition to their 10 studio releases through Warner Bros. Records. The double-disc retrospective was released through Warner Bros. on November 11, 2011, and was compiled by the band members; the existence of the compilation was revealed simultaneously with the group's announcement that they were disbanding on September 21, 2011.

New Order 3 16 is a live DVD released by New Order, in 2001 by Warner Music Vision and London Records. It consists of two concerts. The first took place on 18 November 1981 at the Ukrainian National Home in the East Village of New York City, and features 9 tracks. The second took place at the Reading Festival on 30 August 1998, and features 11 tracks. The DVD title is derived from the combined set list of 3 Joy Division and 16 New Order tracks.
