Priscilla Hamby (born August 5, 1982) is an American illustrator and comic book artist. She specializes in Japanese manga style comics and uses the pen name Rem when published. She lives in Houston, Texas where graduated from the University of Houston Fine Arts Program in 2003.

Her break was in Tokyopop's first Rising Stars of Manga competition in 2003 as the Grand Prize winner for her work Devil's Candy. She then went on to do 2D character and environment designs on a video game called Fate of Ages by a now defunct company in England called Onisoft. In 2006 she became the artist for a collaborative project between Tokyopop and Harper Collins. The project was a manga adaptation of a series of novels written by Ellen Schreiber called Vampire Kisses . The subsequent manga series, Vampire Kisses: Blood Relatives is a spin-off of Schreiber's previous works. There are two volumes of Blood Relatives in publication. In 2007, she won grand prize in the Kodansha Weekly Morning International Manga Competition for her work Kage no Matsuri and as a result her short story was published in Morning Two magazine. [1] [2] She also worked on Tokyopop's Domo: The Manga. In 2012, she illustrated a 3 volume series called Soulless: The Manga for Yen Press, which was an adaptation of Gail Carriger's novels. [3] [4] In 2015, her oneshot manga Folie À Deux was published on Shonen Jump+ and digital version of Weekly Shonen Jump. [5] [6] In July 2019, she announced that she did some of the character designs for River City Girls video game by Arc Systems Works and WayForward which will be released in September 2019. [7] [8]

Volume I, Blood Relatives

This book is the first volume in a series of Manga that are based on the Vampire Kisses world. It is published by Tokyopop and is written by Ellen Schreiber.

Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase is a Japanese manga series by Keitarō Arima. The manga was serialized in the monthly manga magazine Comic Gum from March 2000 to March 27, 2008. The series spanned sixteen manga volumes that were published by Wani Books in Japan. The manga series was later adapted into a 25 episode anime television series by Shaft, and aired on TV Tokyo from October 5, 2004 to March 29, 2005. Chibi Vampire, originally released in Japan as Karin, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuna Kagesaki. The story is about an unusual vampire girl, who instead of drinking blood must inject it into others because she produces too much. Chibi Vampire first premiered in the shōnen magazine Monthly Dragon Age in the October 2003 issue, and ran until February 2008. The individual chapters were published by Kadokawa Shoten into fourteen collected volumes. Later an anime series for "Chibi Vampire" was also produced in 2005. Venus Versus Virus is a Japanese manga series created by Atsushi Suzumi which was first serialized on June 27, 2005 in MediaWorks' shōnen manga magazine Dengeki Comic Gao!. The manga ended serialization in Dengeki Comic Gao! on February 27, 2008 due to the magazine's discontinuation, but the manga continued serialization in ASCII Media Works' manga magazine Dengeki Daioh between March 21 and July 26, 2008. Rosario + Vampire is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akihisa Ikeda. The story revolves around Tsukune Aono, a boy who inadvertently enrolls in a boarding school for monsters. He quickly befriends Moka Akashiya, a vampire who soon develops an obsession with his blood, and later meets other monster girls who soon take a romantic liking to him. The manga was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shonen Jump from July 2004 to June 2007, when the magazine ceased its publication. An extra chapter was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump in September 2007. The chapters were collected in ten tankōbon volumes.

<i>Deadman Wonderland</i> Japanese manga series

Deadman Wonderland is a Japanese manga series written by Jinsei Kataoka and illustrated by Kazuma Kondou, who also wrote and illustrated the Eureka Seven manga, and published in Shōnen Ace since 2008. Tokyopop acquired the licensing rights to distribute the manga in English and released the first 5 volumes of the manga before the company shut down its North American Publishing division in 2011. The individual chapters were collected and published in 7 bound volumes by Mag Garden, with the first volume released on May 10, 2006 and the final volume released on March 15, 2013.
