Purwakarta Regency is a landlocked regency (kabupaten) of West Java, Indonesia. The town of Purwakarta is its regency seat.

The land area of the Regency is 971.72 km2, and it had a population of 852,521 in the 2010 Census [2] and 997,869 in the 2020 Census, [3] while the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 1,037,068 - comprising 526,035 males and 511,033 females [1] - for a density of 1,067.2 people per km2. [4] The west of the regency includes the huge reservoir of the Waduk Jatiluhur, west of Purwakarta town and 70 km from Jakarta, created by the Jatiluhur Dam on the Tarum River.

The Purwakarta Regency is divided into seventeen districts (kecamatan), listed below with their areas and their populations at the 2010 Census [2] and 2020 Census, [3] together with the official estimates as at mid 2023. Harmoni Award 2016

The Ministry of Religion has awarded a Harmoni Award in 2016 to Purwakarta Regency for religion tolerance in this area. It is one of the only ten such awards across Indonesia. West Java Province is categorized by the Setara Institute as the best for tolerance in Indonesia, although West Java Province itself has not received an award. [5]

Lamongan Regency is a regency of the East Java Province of Indonesia. It has a total land area of approximately 1,812.8 km2 (699.9 sq mi) or + 3.78% of the area of East Java Province. With a length of 47 km (29 mi) along the coastline, the sea area of Lamongan Regency is about 902.4 km2 (348.4 sq mi), if calculated to a distance of 12 miles (19 km) across the ocean surface. It includes the substantial island of Moyo, lying off the north coast of Sumbawa.
