Purwakarta Regency is a landlocked regency (kabupaten) of West Java, Indonesia. The town of Purwakarta is its regency seat.
The land area of the Regency is 971.72 km2, and it had a population of 852,521 in the 2010 Census [2] and 997,869 in the 2020 Census, [3] while the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 1,037,068 - comprising 526,035 males and 511,033 females [1] - for a density of 1,067.2 people per km2. [4] The west of the regency includes the huge reservoir of the Waduk Jatiluhur, west of Purwakarta town and 70 km from Jakarta, created by the Jatiluhur Dam on the Tarum River.
The Purwakarta Regency is divided into seventeen districts (kecamatan), listed below with their areas and their populations at the 2010 Census [2] and 2020 Census, [3] together with the official estimates as at mid 2023. The Ministry of Religion has awarded a Harmoni Award in 2016 to Purwakarta Regency for religion tolerance in this area. It is one of the only ten such awards across Indonesia. West Java Province is categorized by the Setara Institute as the best for tolerance in Indonesia, although West Java Province itself has not received an award. [5]
Jombang Regency is a regency of East Java, Indonesia, situated to the southwest of Surabaya. The capital of the regency is the town of Jombang. Bangkalan Regency is a regency of East Java province in Indonesia. The seat of its government is the town of Bangkalan. The regency is located on the west side of Madura Island, bordering Sampang Regency to the east, Java Sea to the north, and Madura Strait to the west and the south sides. Lamongan Regency is a regency of the East Java Province of Indonesia. It has a total land area of approximately 1,812.8 km2 (699.9 sq mi) or + 3.78% of the area of East Java Province. With a length of 47 km (29 mi) along the coastline, the sea area of Lamongan Regency is about 902.4 km2 (348.4 sq mi), if calculated to a distance of 12 miles (19 km) across the ocean surface. At the 2010 census it had a population of 1,179,059; the 2020 Census produced a total of 1,379,628 and the official estimate as at mid-2023 was 1,385,835. The regency seat is the town of Lamongan, situated on the Solo River which passes from west to east through the regency, effectively dividing it in two.
Magetan Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of East Java Province, Indonesia. It is an inland regency, and lies in the west of the province, adjoining Central Java Province. It covered an area of 688.84 km2 and had a population of 620,442 at the 2010 Census and 670,812 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid-2023 was 691,618. The administrative headquarters is in the town of Magetan.

Sragen Regency is a regency in the eastern part of Central Java province in Indonesia. Its capital is the town of Sragen, located about 30 km to the northeast of Surakarta. Sragen is bordered by East Java Province to the east.

Sumbawa Regency is a Regency (Kabupaten) of the Indonesian Province of West Nusa Tenggara. It is located on the island of Sumbawa and covers an area of 6,643.99 km2, following the separation on 18 December 2003 of what were until then its westernmost five districts to form the newly-created West Sumbawa Regency. It includes the substantial island of Moyo, lying off the north coast of Sumbawa. The population of the Regency at the 2010 Census was 415,789, which rose at the 2020 Census to 509,753; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 529,487. The capital is the town of Sumbawa Besar on the north coast of Sumbawa Island.
Kapuas Regency is one of the thirteen regencies which divide Central Kalimantan Province, on the island of Kalimantan, Indonesia. It formerly covered a wider area, but on 10 April 2002 two further regencies were cut out of its western districts, and the residual area is now 17,070.39 km.2 Its population was 329,646 at the 2010 Census and 410,446 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 425,186. The administrative centre is the town of Kuala Kapuas near the coast, but the largest town is Selat, which includes 8 of the regency's 15 urban kelurahan, and had 72,382 inhabitants in mid 2023.

It covers a land area of 1,839.94 sq. km, and had a population of 1,118,464 at the 2010 Census and 1,198,012 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 1,258,368. The administrative centre is the coastal town of Tuban.
