Radio Bums is a multimedia, music production, and music publishing company founded by multimedia activist Hakeem Khaaliq in 1996. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
Radio Bums can be traced back to 1994, where Khaaliq's first official album, No Coast Line, was released under production company, "Da 40 Thieves Music Productions," which was later changed to "Radio Bums." The name was coined by Hakeem in 1997 after ending his role as co-host of KGNU's Eclipse show with DJ Chris Nathan. Hakeem, a well known producer in Denver at the time, produced and published the soundtrack "The Bizness" and other subsequent releases under the "Radio Bums" moniker. [8]

"Drop It Like It's Hot" is a song by American rapper Snoop Dogg featuring fellow American musician Pharrell Williams. It was released on September 27, 2004, as the lead single from Snoop Dogg's seventh studio album, R&G : The Masterpiece (2005). The song was produced by the Neptunes. It is regarded as an iconic song, with Snoop performing the chorus and the second and third verses while Pharrell performs the first verse.
Farid Karam Nassar, better known by his stage name Fredwreck, is a Grammy Award-winning American hip hop recording artist, DJ and record producer. He got his big break when he became a producer for Dr. Dre's newly founded record label Aftermath Entertainment, and then went on to work with Snoop Dogg's record label Dogghouse Records and became a known producer on Tha Dogg Pound-affiliated material. During this time he also was a producer for Snoop Doggs track: Riders on the storm Ft The Doors on EA's Need for Speed Underground 2. Hakeem Khaaliq is an American cinematographer, television producer, film director, photographer, multi-media activist, graphic design artist, and visual anthropologist. Before his career in film and television he worked as a music producer, music publisher, music supervisor and radio personality. In 1995 Khaaliq founded Radio Bums and in 2010 he co-founded Nation19 magazine / APDTA with longtime partner Queen Muhammad Ali.
