Tunis is the capital and largest city of Tunisia. The greater metropolitan area of Tunis, often referred to as "Grand Tunis", has about 2,700,000 inhabitants. As of 2020, it is the third-largest city in the Maghreb region and the eleventh-largest in the Arab world.
Tabelbala is a town and commune between Béchar and Tindouf in south-western Algeria, and is the capital, and only significant settlement, of the Daïra of the same name, encompassing most of the western half of Béni Abbès Province. As of the 2008 census, its population was 5,121, up from 4,663 in 1998, with an annual growth rate of 1.0%. The commune covers an area of 60,560 square kilometres (23,380 sq mi), making it by far the largest commune in the province, as well as the least densely populated.
The Medjerda River, the classical Bagrada, is a river in North Africa flowing from northeast Algeria through Tunisia before emptying into the Gulf of Tunis and Lake of Tunis. With a length of 450 km (280 mi), it is the longest river of Tunisia. It is also known as the Wadi Majardah or Mejerha.
Sfax is a city in Tunisia, located 270 km (170 mi) southeast of Tunis. The city, founded in AD 849 on the ruins of Berber Taparura, is the capital of the Sfax Governorate, and a Mediterranean port. Sfax has a population of 330,440. Its main industries include phosphate, olive and nut processing, fishing and international trade. The city is the second-most populous in the country after the capital, Tunis.
Cape Bon, also known as Ras at-Taib, Sharīk Peninsula, or Watan el Kibli, is a peninsula in far northeastern Tunisia. Cape Bon is also the name of the northernmost point on the peninsula, also known as Ras ed-Dar, and known in antiquity as the Cape of Mercury or Cape Hermaeum.
M'Sila is a province (wilaya) of northern Algeria. It has a population of 1 million people and an area of 18,718 km², while its capital, also called M'Sila, home to M'Sila University, has a population of about 100,000.

El Alia is a town and commune in the Bizerte Governorate, Tunisia.
Metline is a commune and town on the Mediterranean coast, in the Bizerte Governorate of northern Tunisia. As of 2004, it had a population of 7,370. It is located approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Tunis, 28 kilometres (17 mi) southeast of Bizerte and 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) northwest of Ras Jebel. The commune of Metline occupies a peninsula extending between the mountains, the sea and the forest, with a coastline of more than 6 kilometres (3.7 mi). Cape Zebib is 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) to the northeast. The commune was created on May 3, 1967.
Oueslatia is a town and commune in the Kairouan Governorate, Tunisia. As of 2004 it had a population of 8,444. It is also the capital of a delegation with 36,195 inhabitants in the 2006 census.
Hajeb El Ayoun is a town and commune in the Kairouan Governorate, Tunisia. As of 2004 it had a population of 9,648. It is also the capital of a district of 35,403 inhabitants.
Dar Chaabane is a town and a commune in the Nabeul Governorate, Tunisia on the coast of Cap Bon. In 2014, its population was 42,140. The municipality is the result of a merger in 1957 between the town of El Fehri located on the coast and the town of Dar Chaabane located in the hinterland. Covering 3500 hectares, the city is one of the biggest towns of the peninsula of Cap Bon.

Hassi Ben Abdellah is a town and commune in Sidi Khouiled District, Ouargla Province, Algeria, located near the provincial capital, Ouargla. According to the 2008 census it has a population of 4,950, up from 3,693 in 1998, and an annual growth rate of 3.0%. The commune covers an area of 1,672 square kilometres (646 sq mi).
North West Tunisia is one of the six geographic and economic regions of Tunisia, consisting of four governorates: Béja, Kef, Siliana and Jendouba. The region had a population of 1,170,752 representing 12.2% of the total population of Tunisia. This makes it the 5th-most populous region in the country, with only South West Tunisia being smaller.
Djebba, also known as Thigibba Bure, is a town and an ancient archaeological site is located in Bājah, Tunisia. Djebba is an archaeological/prehistoric site in Tunisia located at latitude: 36°28'32.45" longitude: 9°4'53.54" in the Béja Governorate of northwestern Tunisia. The estimated terrain elevation above sea level is 355 metres located below the slopes of Djebel Gorra, 700 meters above sea level. Djebba also has a national park, which is the subject of a development project
Oued Merguellil is a stream in central Tunisia that flows via Sebkhet Cherita Lake, into the Mediterranean at the Gulf of Hammamet.
The Société du Djebel-Djérissa (SDD) is a Tunisian iron ore mining company founded in 1899 that began operations in 1907. It produced up to 700,000 tons per year of hematite ore in the years before World War II. Production dropped during the war. The company was nationalized in 1961. Today levels of output are around 200,000 tons annually.
