The Metropolitan Tabernacle is a large independent Reformed Baptist church in the Elephant and Castle in London. It was the largest non-conformist church of its day in 1861. The Tabernacle Fellowship have been worshipping together since 1650. Its first pastor was William Rider; other notable pastors and preachers include Benjamin Keach, John Gill, John Rippon and C. H. Spurgeon. The Tabernacle still worships and holds to its Biblical foundations and principles under its present pastor, Peter Masters.

St John Zachary was a church, first mentioned in official records in 1181, within the City of London, England, on the north side of Gresham Street, Aldersgate. Its vicar from 25 May 1424 to an unknown date was William Byngham, the founder of England's first teacher training college It was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666 and not rebuilt, with its parish being reunited with that of St Anne and St Agnes by Act of Parliament in 1670- an arrangement that lasted until the 20th century. Its site is now a garden first made by the fire watchers in 1941. Partial records survive at IGI.

A Baptist Church once stood on the north side of Station Road, New Barnet. The church was designed by W. Allen Dixon and construction was underway by 21 May 1872, when a memorial stone was laid. The building was in a Renaissance style with elements of the Romanesque. It was built of gault and yellow stock brick with stone dressings. The front featured a three bay Palladian temple front. The church was a grade II listed building with English Heritage. It was demolished to make way for flats around 1982.
