Real Crime is a British documentary television series produced by ITV Studios for the ITV network. Each episode examines a notorious crime and includes interviews with relatives of the victims. It was broadcast from 2001 to 2011, and ended after ten series. From 2008 until 2011, each episode was presented by Mark Austin and from 2010 was listed as Real Crime with Mark Austin.

My Music was a radio panel show which premiered on the BBC Home Service on 3 January 1967. It was a companion programme to My Word!, and like that show featured comic writers Denis Norden and Frank Muir. The show was last recorded in November 1993 and broadcast in January 1994, then rebroadcast until 2011. It was also broadcast via the BBC World Service. Paul Charles Denyer is an Australian serial killer currently serving three consecutive sentences of life imprisonment with a non-parole period of 30 years for the murders of three young women in Melbourne, in 1993. Denyer became known in the media as the Frankston Serial Killer as his crimes occurred in the neighbouring suburbs of Frankston.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Javed Iqbal (serial killer)</span> Pakistani serial killer

Javed Iqbal Mughal was a Pakistani serial killer and pederast who confessed to the sexual abuse and murder of 100 young boys, ranging in age from 6 to 16. Iqbal strangled the victims, dismembered the corpses and dissolved them in acid as a way to conceal the evidence. He was found guilty and sentenced to death in the same manner that he killed the boys, being strangled first, then cut into a hundred pieces, in front of the parents of the victims, one piece for each victim, then be dissolved into acid; Interior Minister, Moinuddin Haider, stated that such a punishment would not be allowed. Iqbal died by suicide before any sentence could be carried out.

Rachel Jane Nickell was a British woman who was stabbed to death on Wimbledon Common in south-west London on 15 July 1992. The initial police investigation of the crime resulted in the arrest in controversial circumstances of an innocent man, who was acquitted. Her killer, Robert Napper, was identified by a later police investigation and convicted in 2008.

Robert Clive Napper is an English serial killer and rapist. He has been convicted of two murders, one manslaughter, two rapes, and two attempted rapes. He was sentenced to indefinite detention at Broadmoor Hospital on 18 December 2008 for the manslaughter of Rachel Nickell on 15 July 1992. He was previously convicted of the 1993 double murder of Samantha Bisset and her daughter Jazmine Bisset.

The Voice UK is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The second series was hosted by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates on BBC One and started on 30 March 2013. On 13 November 2012, it was confirmed that all four coaches from last year would return. The show's Blind Auditions moved to dock10, MediaCityUK in Salford, Greater Manchester. It was also confirmed that the live show format would be tweaked for this series, which included the cutback from six live shows in the first series to only three live shows, and the pre-recorded results show had also been dropped, with the results given on the same night as the performances. On 28 February 2013, four ten-second teaser trailers were posted to the show's official website and YouTube page.

<i>La bella y las bestias</i> Mexican television series

La bella y las bestias is a Spanish-language television series that follows the life of Isabela León, a beautiful and hard-working woman who returns to Mexico with a goal: to find those responsible who murdered her parents years ago. It is produced by W Studios and Lemons Films for Univision and Televisa and premiered on 12 June 2018, concluding on 10 September 2018. It is an original series created and developed by Juan Camilo Ferrand that consists of eighty episodes. It stars Esmeralda Pimentel and Osvaldo Benavides.

The 2019 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship was held from November 4 to 10, 2018 at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Team Manitoba, as champions, represented Canada at the 2019 World Mixed Curling Championship where they won the gold medal.
