Reece Howden (born 12 July 1998) is a Canadian freestyle skier who competes internationally in the ski cross discipline. [1] [2]
At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, Howden won the gold medal in the ski cross event and was Canada's flagbearer during the closing ceremony. [3]
Howden won his first World Cup race in 2020, his rookie season. [1] Howden would go on to win the crystal globe, awarded to the overall points leader per discipline for the 2020–21 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup season. [4] During the season Howden won four races, and had two other podium finishes. [4] [5]
Howden had a fifth-place finish at the 2021 World Championships. [6]
On January 24, 2022, Howden was named to Canada's 2022 Olympic team. [7] [8] [9]
Marie-Michèle Gagnon is a World Cup alpine ski racer from Canada. Born in Lac-Etchemin, Quebec, she was a technical skier focused on slalom. However, since an injury at the start of 2017 season, she no longer competes in slalom and rarely in giant slalom, focusing on speed disciplines and combined.

The gold and silver she and her sister Chloe Dufour-Lapointe won in 2014 was the first time that Canadian sisters stood together on the podium, and the fourth time ever by all nations. In winning the Olympics, she became the youngest freestyle skiing Olympic champion ever at nineteen years of age. Dufour-Lapointe was the FIS World Cup rookie of the year for the 2010–11 season. Dufour-Lapointe was the world champion in moguls at the 2015 World Championships has also won a silver and two other bronze medals in the moguls event at the Freestyle World Ski Championships.
Trevor Philp is a Canadian World Cup alpine ski racer specializing in the technical events of slalom and giant slalom. He represented Canada at two Winter Olympics and five World Championships, and resides in Calgary, Alberta.
