Release Me is a 2012 compilation album of eleven rare and previously unreleased studio performances by American singer Barbra Streisand.
A companion compilation of ten more unreleased tracks followed in 2021: Release Me 2 .
Streisand announced the album's release on her official website in August 2012. [6] It contains tracks recorded between her 1967 Simply Streisand and 2011 What Matters Most albums, gathering unreleased material from, among others, Stoney End , The Broadway Album , and Back to Broadway . The compilation's release was accompanied by a series of short video clips posted onto YouTube, in which Barbra discussed every track. [7] A music video for "I Think It's Going to Rain Today" was directed, photographed and edited by Matt Amato. [8]
The album debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 albums sales chart (with approximately 40,000 copies sold), making this her 32nd Top 10 album and her 6th consecutive Top 10 effort since The Movie Album in 2003. [9]

A Collection: Greatest Hits...and More is the fourth greatest hits album recorded by American vocalist Barbra Streisand. It was released on October 3, 1989 by Columbia Records. The compilation features ten songs from Streisand's career, dating from 1975 to 1988, plus two previously unreleased songs: "We're Not Makin' Love Anymore" was released as the album's lead single on September 14, 1989, and "Someone That I Used to Love" was distributed as the second and final one in 1989. Both singles charted on several record charts internationally.

Superman (1977) is the nineteenth studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand. The lead single "My Heart Belongs to Me" became a hit in 1977, peaking at #4 on the US pop chart. The title track was released as a follow-up but did not chart as highly as its predecessor. Live in Concert 2006 is a live album by American singer Barbra Streisand which was recorded during her record setting 2006 US tour known as Streisand: The Tour. The double album contains songs recorded at different shows and venues including New York City's Madison Square Garden and Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center. Three songs Streisand performed live on the tour with Il Divo are featured on the album.

The album was certified 5× Platinum by the RIAA, reaching number 10 on the US Billboard 200. First released on Columbia, it was re-released under the CBS imprint in 1981 with four additional tracks. In the UK, where it was released as Love Songs, it reached number 1 on the UK Albums Chart for nine weeks. The album was certified platinum in the UK, and 6× platinum in Australia. According to the liner notes of Streisand's retrospective box set, Just for the Record, the album also received a record certification in the Netherlands and in Switzerland.
The Broadway Album is the twenty-fourth studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand, released by Columbia Records on November 4, 1985. Consisting mainly of classic show tunes, the album marked a major shift in Streisand's career. She had spent ten years appearing in musicals and singing standards on her albums in the 1960s. Beginning with the album Stoney End in 1971 and ending with the album Emotion in 1984, Streisand sang mostly rock, pop, folk, and disco-oriented songs for Columbia records. Noted Broadway composer Stephen Sondheim personally penned additional lyrics for the songs "Putting It Together" and "Send in the Clowns" on request of the singer. The album, originally released on the Columbia label and subsequently re-released by Columbia and Sony Records, was a critical and commercial success. First certified gold by the RIAA on January 13, 1986, it reached four times platinum on January 31, 1995.
Higher Ground is the twenty-seventh studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand, which, at the time, was her first in four years. The album was inspired by and dedicated to Virginia Clinton Kelley. It was released in North America on November 11, 1997, and a day earlier in Europe.

Originating on Streisand's previous album, Songbird, the new rendition is a duet with Neil Diamond who had also recorded the song for his 1978 album of the same name. The idea for the duet originated from DJ Gary Guthrie who sold the idea to the record label for $5 million.

Released in 1971, it was a conscious change in direction for Streisand with a more upbeat contemporary pop/rock sound and was produced by Richard Perry. The album included cover versions of many songs by contemporary singer-songwriters of the day including Laura Nyro, Randy Newman and Joni Mitchell.
A Love Like Ours is the twenty-eighth studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand. It was released in North America on September 21, 1999, and Europe on September 20, 1999. It is her 23rd Top 10 album in the US. This was Streisand's first commercial release since her marriage to actor James Brolin. Much of the material was inspired by this event. As such, the disc booklet contains images of her and Brolin.
Love Is the Answer is the thirty-second studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand released on September 29, 2009. The album consists of jazz standards and was produced by Diana Krall and Tommy LiPuma. It also features Krall on piano and orchestral arrangements by Johnny Mandel, Anthony Wilson and Alan Broadbent. A deluxe edition contains a bonus disc featuring versions of the songs with just Streisand's vocals and Krall's quartet.

The Concert was certified platinum in Australia, Canada and the United States. The song "Ordinary Miracles" was released as a CD-single by Columbia Records including a studio version of the track produced by Walter Afanasieff. It was arranged and conducted by Marvin Hamlisch. An abbreviated version of the album titled The Concert: Highlights was also released with a different cover art and was certified gold by the RIAA, while the double album received a triple-platinum certification.

Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway is the thirty-fifth studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand, released on August 26, 2016 by Columbia Records. Encore is her third studio album of Broadway songs and featured duets with several well-known actors including Jamie Foxx, Melissa McCarthy, among others. The album was promoted with the release of At the Ballet as a single.
Release Me 2 is a compilation album of rare and previously unreleased recordings by American singer Barbra Streisand. Released on CD, vinyl and digital formats on August 6, 2021, it is a follow-up to her 2012 compilation Release Me.
