[1] The album peaked at No. 2 on the U.S. Christian Albums chart and at 111 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart. The 10-track album includes the title track single "Rescue Story". Three other tracks "Walk With You", "Heaven Help Me" and "There Was Jesus" (the latter featuring Dolly Parton) also appeared on the Billboard Christian Songs chart.

Toby McKeehan, better known by his stage name TobyMac, is an American contemporary Christian music singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He was first known for being a member of the Christian rap and rock trio DC Talk, staying with them from 1987 until they went on hiatus in 2000. It was released on September 14, 2018 on Essential Records and Provident Label Group part of Sony Music. The six-song project totaling 28 minutes, 11 seconds was recorded live in summer of 2018 in the Nashville, Tennessee-based Harding Prison, a facility that is part of Metro-Davidson County Detention Facility (MDCDF) run by CoreCivic, a company that owns and manages private prisons and detention centers and operates others on a concession basis.
