Watson Mill Bridge State Park is a 1,018 acre (4.12 km²) Georgia state park located near Comer and Carlton on the South Fork of the Broad River. The park is named for the Watson Mill Bridge, the longest original-site covered bridge in Georgia, which spans 229 feet across the South Fork River. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Watson Mill Covered Bridge and Mill Historic District. The bridge, built in 1885, is supported by a town lattice truss system held firmly together with wooden pins. Georgia once had over 200 covered bridges, but only 20 now remain. The park also offers a scenic nature trail and a new hiking/horse trail that winds through the thick forests and along the rivers edge.
A. H. Stephens State Park, also known as A. H. Stevens Historic Park, is a 1,177 acres (476 ha) Georgia state park located in Crawfordville. The park is named for Alexander Hamilton Stephens, the Vice President of the Confederate States of America, and a former Georgia governor. The park contains Stephens' home, Liberty Hall, which has been fully restored to its original 1875 style. The park's museum houses one of Georgia's largest collections of Civil War artifacts. The park also offers several mill ponds for fishing and nature trails.
The Augusta Canal is a historic canal located in Augusta, Georgia, United States. The canal is fed by the Savannah River and passes through three levels in suburban and urban Augusta before the water returns to the river at various locations. It was devised to harness the water power at the fall line of the Savannah River to drive mills, to provide transportation of goods, and to provide a municipal water supply. It is the only canal in the US in continuous use for its original purposes of providing power, transport, and municipal water.

Constructed from 350CE to 600CE, the mound complex is located in southwest Georgia, in present-day Early County near the Chattahoochee River.
The Jarrell Plantation State Historic Site is a cotton plantation and state park in Juliette, Georgia, United States. Founded as a forced-labor farm worked by the Jarrell family and the black people they enslaved, the site stands today as one of the best-preserved examples of a "middle class" Southern plantation. The Jarrell Plantation's buildings and artifacts all came from the Jarrell family, who farmed the land for over 140 years. Located in the red clay hills of the Georgia piedmont, It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is a Georgia state park in Jones County.
Jewell is an unincorporated community in Warren County, Georgia, United States. It lies along Georgia Piedmont Scenic Byway State Route 16 to the southwest of the city of Warrenton, the county seat of Warren County. Jewell's elevation is 420 feet (128 m). Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 31045. It is by the Ogeechee River, which is the western border of Warren County at this point.

The company, founded in 1867 and now known as Rex Forge, has long been one of Southington's major industrial employers. Myrick's Mill is a populated place in Twiggs County, Georgia,. Originally known as Big Sandy, for a large creek in the area, the settlement included a post office, churches, sawmills, ice house and J.D. Myrick's grist mill. Residents produced cotton, fruits and vegetables. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 6, 1975. The settlement was located northeast of Fitzpatrick, Georgia on county road 378.
Pickett's Mill Battlefield Site is a Georgia state park in Paulding County, Georgia that preserves the American Civil War battlefield of the Battle of Pickett's Mill. The 765-acre site includes roads used by Union and Confederate troops, earthwork battlements, and an 1800s era pioneer cabin. The area's ravine is a site where hundreds died. The park's visitor center includes exhibits and a film about the battle.
