Richard Friedland is the chief executive officer of Netcare Group, a leading healthcare provider in South Africa.[ citation needed ]

Early life and career

Prior to his tenure at Netcare, Richard Friedland served as the Operations Director of Medicross, where he was responsible for overseeing overall operations and establishing medical centers on a national scale. Friedland joined Netcare in early 1997, initially taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. Under his leadership, Richard Friedland played a crucial role in the establishment of Netcare UK and served as the CEO of the Netcare International Division from 2002 until August 2005. [1] [2]
