Rob Buyea (born September 12, 1976) is an American children's fiction author best known for his Mr. Terupt series of novels. In 2011, Buyea won an E.B. White Read Aloud Award for Because of Mr. Terupt. [1] He is now a full time author, residing with his wife, three daughters, and two dogs in North Andover, Massachusetts. [2]
Buyea earned a B.S. from the in biology from the College of Arts and Sciences (1999) and a M.A. in education from the School of Education (2000), both at Syracuse University. [3] He was a wrestler on the Syracuse Orange team.
Charlotte's Web is a book of children's literature by American author E. B. White and illustrated by Garth Williams; it was published on October 15, 1952, by Harper & Brothers. The novel tells the story of a livestock pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes messages in her web praising Wilbur, such as "Some Pig" and "Humble", to persuade the farmer to let him live.
