Robert Christian Cramer (born 7 February 1954 in Amsterdam) is a Swiss politician and member of the Green Party of Switzerland. [1] He was educated as a lawyer at the University of Geneva.

From 1988 to 1990, he was head of the cantonal section Green party of Geneva. Cramer was a member of the municipal council of the city of Geneva from 1995 to 1997 and cantonal council of the Canton of Geneva from 1997 to 2005.

Cramer was elected as a representative of the Canton of Geneva in the Swiss Council of States in the 2007 elections. [2]

2007 Swiss federal election

Elections to the Swiss Federal Assembly, the federal parliament of Switzerland, were held on Sunday, 21 October 2007. In a few cantons, a second round of the elections to the Council of States was held on 11 November, 18 November, and 25 November 2007. For the 48th legislative term of the federal parliament (2007–2011), voters in 26 cantons elected all 200 members of the National Council as well as 43 out of 46 members of the Council of States. The other three members of the Council of States for that term of service were elected at an earlier date.
