Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant has performed solo tours since 1981.

Led Zeppelin II is the second album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, released on 22 October 1969 in the United States and on 31 October 1969 in the United Kingdom by Atlantic Records. Recording sessions for the album took place at several locations in both the United Kingdom and North America from January to August 1969. The album's production was credited to the band's lead guitarist and songwriter Jimmy Page, and it also served as Led Zeppelin's first album to use Eddie Kramer as engineer. It was entirely recorded using the core band members, including Page (guitar), Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham (drums).
The untitled fourth studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, commonly known as Led Zeppelin IV, was released on 8 November 1971 by Atlantic Records. Joan Baez recorded a solo version for her 1962 album Joan Baez in Concert and a variety of musicians subsequently adapted it to a variety of styles, including Led Zeppelin. Seth Bernard Lakeman is an English folk singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, who is most often associated with the fiddle and tenor guitar, but also plays the viola and banjo. Royal Blood is an English rock duo formed in 2013 in Brighton, East Sussex, consisting of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher (drums). Kerr's playing style is notable in that he uses several effects pedals that allow his bass to sound like a standard lead guitar. Their self-titled debut album was released in August 2014, and in June 2017 they released their second album, How Did We Get So Dark?
