Robin Creyke

Robin Creyke AO is an Emeritus Professor of law in Australia.

She graduated from the University of Western Australia (1966) and earned her Master of Laws from Australian National University (1991). Creyke joined the faculty of the College of Law at the Australian National University in 1985 and became a professor (specifically military law) in 2002. [1] [2] During her tenure, she served as the Alumni Chair of Administrative Law. From 2009-2014, she was appointed to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) and served as a Senior Member. [3] [4] [5] [6]

Since 1985, Creyke has served as an editor (veterans’ affairs) of Administrative Law Decisions. [7] Additionally, Creyke has authored works that pertain to military law, security law, and administrative law. She has contributed to the following publications: [8]

In 2018, she was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia. [9]

Peter Louis Waller was an Australian jurist. He was particularly well known for his work in evidence, medical and criminal law. He was Sir Leo Cussen Professor of Law at Monash University from 1965 until 2000, and thereafter Emeritus Professor. From 1968 to 1970 he was the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Monash University. From 1982 to 1984 he was the Law Reform Commissioner of Victoria. In 1984 he was appointed the Chairman of the Law Reform Commission, and from 1986 to 1992 he served as a part-time Commissioner. He has also served as the chairman of a number of medical and legal organisations, including the Infertility Treatment Authority, International Humanitarian Law Committee of the Australian Red Cross Society, Ethics Committee of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, and the Appeals Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Professor Waller previously served as Visiting Professor and Research Fellow in several universities in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Israel.

She is also a Visiting Full Professor at the UCD Sutherland School of law and adjunct professor at Waikato University, New Zealand, and Jilin University, China. Wheeler was elected to the Academy of Social Sciences and the Royal Irish Academy in 2011 and 2013, respectively. She was previously a Professor at Queen's University Belfast and was the Head of the School of Law at Queen's University Belfast for several years, she also served as Interim Dean of the Faculty of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS), Dean of Internationalisation (AHSS) and, in 2017, Interim Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research Enterprise.
