Rock is the third studio album by French nu metal band Pleymo. Released on 27 October 2003, [1] the album sees the band shifting towards a more melodic musical style which is less aggressive than their previous releases. [2] Rock is a concept album about a four-year-old blind boy and his imaginary twin. [2]

Music style and album concept

With the recording of Rock, Pleymo sought to shift their music toward a more melodic and less aggressive style than their previous albums. [2] The band also wrote the songs to form a concept album about a boy, blind and four years of age, and his imaginary double. [2]

Release

A music video for the album's title track was released in 2005. [3] A variant edition of the album contained a bonus DVD featuring live concert footage and music videos. [4]

Legacy

The songs "Divine Excuse", "Polyester Môme", "1977", "Modaddiction", "Rock", and "Cherubin" were included on the band's 2005 live album, Ce Soir C'Est Grand Soir. [5]

The Blinded is a melodic death metal band from Karlshamn, Sweden, formerly known as both Stigmata and Blinded Colony. They are currently unsigned and recording the pre-preproduction of their third studio album. They released an EP in 2010 containing six new tracks.

The album was released on 19 October 2007 for Europe and on 23 October 2007 for the US, both through Nuclear Blast. Everything aside from vocals was recorded at Not Quite Studios in Helsingborg. This is the only album to include Daniel Antonsson on guitar who replaced founding member Peter Wichers after his late 2005 departure. Veil is the fourth studio album by American noise rock band Band of Susans. After establishing their "classic-line up" with their previous album The Word and the Flesh (1991), and recording the EP Now (1992), the band aimed for a new, more sonic and experimental direction on Veil, after the more song-centric approach to The Word and the Flesh. Recording the album in early 1993, Veil shows the band expand the margins of their sound with a more experimental approach.
