Roderick Flower

Roderick John Flower FRS FBPhS FMedSci , also known as Rod, is a British pharmacologist, and professor at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. [1] Dr. Flower is a member of the board of directors of Antibe Therapeutics [2] and on the scientific advisory board of Morria. [3]

Flower was educated at Woodbridge School, [4] and graduated with a first class degree in Physiology, from the University of Sheffield in 1971. He was Chair of Pharmacology at the University of Bath from 1985 to 1990. [5] He was Wellcome Principal Research Fellow, from 1994 to 2007.

He was President of the British Pharmacological Society from 2000 to 2003. [5]

Antibe Therapeutics

Antibe Therapeutics is a Toronto-based pharmaceutical company that develops pain and inflammation-reducing drugs based on gaseous mediator technology. Antibe was founded by John L. Wallace, also a co-founder of NicOx, the first company to develop drugs utilizing gaseous mediators. Founded in 2009, the company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in 2013 and was moved to the Toronto Stock Exchange in November 2020. In 2015, Antibe acquired Citagenix, a distributor involved in regenerative medicine. On June 1, 2020, the company announced positive results in the final Phase 2 trial of its first drug.
