Rutger Oelsen Hauer was a Dutch actor. In 1999, he was named by the Dutch public as the Best Dutch Actor of the Century.
The Bishopric of Utrecht (1024–1528) was an ecclesiastical principality of the Holy Roman Empire in the Low Countries, in the present-day Netherlands. From 1024 to 1528, as one of the prince-bishoprics of the Holy Roman Empire, it was ruled by the bishops of Utrecht. The Prince-Bishopric of Utrecht must not be confused with the Diocese of Utrecht, which extended beyond the Prince-Bishopric and over which the bishop exercised spiritual authority.

Bernardus Wilhelmus Maria "Bert" van Sprang was the founder of the Dutch youth division of the Dutch association of meteorology and astronomy in 1967. Activities carried out by Van Sprang for the JWG included the organization of astro camps, the setting up of a program to build telescopes cheaply, and the writing of many booklets on astronomy topics. He was also program leader of the planetarium in The Hague until it was destroyed by fire in February 1976. The main-belt asteroid 3098 van Sprang was named after him.

The Rubenshuis is the former home and workshop of Peter Paul Rubens (1577–1640) in Antwerp. Purchased in 1610, Rubens had the Flemish townhouse renovated and extended on the basis of designs by Rubens himself. After the renovations the house and its courtyard garden had the outlook of an Italian palazzo, which reflected Rubens' artistic ideals. The ensemble is now a museum dedicated mainly to the work of Rubens and his contemporaries.
Rutgers Stadium was a stadium in Piscataway Township, New Jersey. It hosted the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights football team until the school built the new Rutgers Stadium in 1994. The stadium held 31,219 people at its peak and was opened in 1938. It also hosted the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship on five occasions.
The First Game is a painting by Arnold Friberg, and was commissioned in 1968 by Chevrolet Motor Division as one of four paintings to commemorate the then-upcoming centennial celebration of college football in the United States. It depicts the famous first game of American intercollegiate football, played by Rutgers College and the visiting College of New Jersey on November 6, 1869, at College Field in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The game was played in front of approximately 100 spectators, who were also depicted on the picture.
