Vice Admiral Soonil Vasant Bhokare, AVSM, YSM, NM is a former Flag Officer of the Indian Navy. He last served as the Inspector General Nuclear Safety. [1]
Bhokare is an alumnus of Sainik School Satara. He is a Graduate of National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla. He also attended the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, Tamil Nadu. He graduated from the Higher Command Course at Army War College, Mhow and also holds a master's degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Australian Defence College, Canberra. [2]
Bhokare has commanded the submarines INS Sindhughosh, INS Sindhudhvaj, INS Sindhushastra, as well as the guided missile frigate INS Beas and the submarine base INS Vajrabahu. He was also the Commodore Commanding Submarines (West) and Chief Staff Officer (Operations) at Eastern Naval Command.
As a Rear Admiral, Bhokare has served as the Flag Officer Submarines (FOSM) and later as Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet (FOCEF). [3] He was also the Commandant of the Indian Naval Academy. [4]
Bhokare has been awarded the AVSM, YSM, NM. [5] [1]

The Eastern Naval Command is one of the three command-level formations of the Indian Navy. It is headquartered in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The command is responsible for the all naval forces in the Bay of Bengal and parts of the Indian Ocean and the naval establishments on the east coast of India.
The Southern Naval Command is one of the three command-level formations of the Indian Navy. It has its headquarters in Kochi, Kerala at INS Venduruthy. It is the Training Command of the Indian Navy.
Admiral Sunil Lanba, PVSM, AVSM, PJG, ADC is a retired Indian naval officer who served as the 23rd Chief of the Naval Staff of the Indian Navy. He assumed the office on 31 May 2016 after Admiral Robin K. Dhowan and demitted office three years later on 31 May 2019. Vice Admiral Ravneet Singh, PVSM, AVSM, NM is a former flag officer in the Indian Navy. He last served as the Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff. He assumed office from Vice Admiral Murlidhar Sadashiv Pawar on 1 June 2021 following his retirement. Previously, he served as the Chief of Personnel (COP) and as the Director General Project Seabird. He has also served as the Flag Officer Commanding Western Fleet from October 2015 to October 2016.

His earlier appointments include Commandant of Indian Naval Academy and Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet (FOCEF).

He had earlier served as the Chief of Staff of ENC from 2020 to 2021, Controller of Personnel Services at Naval HQ from 2019 to 2020 and as the Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet (FOCEF) from 2016 to 2018.

The Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST) is a training organisation in the Indian Navy. FOST is the authority responsible for the operational sea training of all personnel of Indian Naval and Coast Guard ships and submarines. The organisation was instituted in 1992 and is the common authority to maintain battle efficiency standards. It also provides training to navies and maritime security forces of friendly foreign countries (FFC). Headquartered in Kochi, the FOST operates under the control of the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Naval Command.

He last served as the Project Director in the ATV Project Headquarters.
