Piero della Francesca was an Italian painter of the Early Renaissance. To contemporaries he was also known as a mathematician and geometer. Nowadays Piero della Francesca is chiefly appreciated for his art. His painting is characterized by its serene humanism, its use of geometric forms and perspective. His most famous work is the cycle of frescoes The History of the True Cross in the church of San Francesco in the Tuscan town of Arezzo.
Piero del Pollaiuolo, whose birth name was Piero Benci, was an Italian Renaissance painter from Florence. His older brother, by about ten years, was the artist Antonio del Pollaiuolo and the two frequently worked together. Their work shows both classical influences and an interest in human anatomy; according to Vasari, the brothers carried out dissections to improve their knowledge of the subject.

The Museo Nacional de San Carlos is a Mexican national art museum devoted to European art, located in the Cuauhtémoc borough in Mexico City. Sergio Vartolo is an Italian harpsichordist, organist, musicologist and conductor; in the past he was also active as a countertenor. In 1996 he was appointed maestro de capella of the Cappella Musicale di San Petronio di Bologna founded in 1436. He has an extensive discography, both as a harpsichordist - the complete works of Girolamo Frescobaldi, and as a conductor - particularly works by Giovanni Paolo Colonna and Giacomo Antonio Perti associated with San Petronio, but also operas by Claudio Monteverdi and others.
Fury of Johnny Kid is a 1967 Italian-Spanish film directed by Gianni Puccini. The Italian and Spanish versions of the film have different endings. The film is a Spaghetti Western version of William Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo and Juliet. Paul Naschy worked as an assistant director on this film, and Director Puccini told him he wanted to bring Naschy back to Rome to work with him on other projects. Puccini died in Rome in December 1968, so it was not to be.
