Aziak Island is a small island in the Andreanof Islands group in the Aleutian Islands of southwestern Alaska. The name "Aziak" is derived from the Aleut word ha-azax - "ten," and in many books and charts published before 1920, it was often used to refer to Sledge Island, located 930 miles (1,500 km) to the northeast off the Seward Peninsula, or to a native settlement on that island. This practice apparently became rarer as the twentieth century progressed and today Aziak is used almost exclusively to refer the Andreanof-group island. Aziak Island is approximately 1.1 miles (1.8 km) long and reaches a maximum elevation of 190 feet (58 m). Very little is known about the island and it is uninhabited.

The Aden Expedition was a naval operation that the British Royal Navy carried out in January 1839. Following Britain's decision to acquire the port of Aden as a coaling station for the steamers sailing the new Suez-Bombay route, the sultan of Lahej, who owned Aden, resisted, which led to a series of skirmishes between the two sides. In response to the incidents, a small force of warships and soldiers of the East India Company were sent to Arabia. The expedition succeeded in defeating the Arab defenders, who held the fortress on Sira Island, and occupied the nearby port of Aden.

Chiesa di Sant'Andrea is a church in the island of Capri, Italy, near the Marina Piccola in the south. It was built in 1900 for the local fishermen. The site which the church lies on formerly contained a watch tower which was used as a lookout post for invading Saracen pirates. The church was designed by the painter Riccardo Fainardi, and funded by German banker Hugo Andreae and his wife, Emma.
