Sara Gama (born 27 March 1989) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a centre back and captains the Serie A club Juventus FC, until 2023 also the Italy women's national team.
Gama has also played for PSG of Division 1 Féminine, UPC Tavagnacco [1] and Calcio Chiasiellis of Serie A, [2] [3] as well as American W-League team Pali Blues. [4]
She is a member of the Italian national team, [5] and took part in the 2009 European Championship. [6] As an Under-19 international she won the 2008 U-19 European Championship serving as the team's captain, and was named the tournament's MVP. [7]
Gama made her senior debut for the Italy women's national football team in June 2006, in a 2–1 defeat by Ukraine in qualifying for the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup. [8]
National coach Antonio Cabrini named Gama in his selection for UEFA Women's Euro 2013 in Sweden. [9]
Despite being captain, Gama was not called up to the Italy squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, with the coach wanting to include more younger players. [10]

Gama's mother is Italian, while her father is Congolese. [11]
In 2017, she graduated in Languages at the Università degli Studi di Udine. [12] She speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish. [13]
In 2018, for the International Women's Day, Mattel presented the Sara Gama Barbie doll as part of the Barbie Sheroes doll line. [14]

Antonio Cabrini is an Italian professional football manager and a former player. He played left-back, mainly with Juventus. He won the 1982 FIFA World Cup with the Italy national team. Cabrini was nicknamed Bell'Antonio, because of his popularity as a charismatic and good-looking football player. On the field, he made a name for himself as one of Italy's greatest defenders ever, and is remembered in particular for forming one of the most formidable defensive units of all time with Italy and Juventus, alongside goalkeeper Dino Zoff, as well as defenders Claudio Gentile and Gaetano Scirea. Cabrini won the Best Young Player Award at the 1978 World Cup, after helping Italy manage a fourth-place finish, and also represented Italy at Euro 1980, once again finishing in fourth place. He is one of the few players to have won all UEFA Club competitions, an achievement he managed with Juventus. In 2021, he was inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame.

Romeo Benetti is an Italian professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. A tenacious and intimidating player, Benetti played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, winning titles with AC Milan, Juventus and AS Roma.
