The Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is a major public transport network serving Hong Kong. Operated by the MTR Corporation Limited (MTRCL),it consists of heavy rail,light rail,and feeder bus service centred on a 10-line rapid transit network serving the urbanised areas of Hong Kong Island,Kowloon,and the New Territories. The system included 240.6 km (149.5 mi) of rail as of 2022 with 167 stations,including 98 heavy rail stations,68 light rail stops and one high-speed rail terminus.

St. John’s College is an Anglican college affiliated to the University of Hong Kong,which provides accommodation to undergraduates and postgraduates. As the successor of St. John’s Hall,which was founded in 1912,the College is the oldest residential hall/college of the University. Constitutionally,the College is a body corporate established by statute,the St. John’s College Ordinance,on 27 April 1956. As such,unlike other residential halls/colleges that are directly administered by the University,the College enjoys financial and administrative independence. The Ricci Hall,run by the Jesuits,is the only other non-University-administered hall.
The Air Pollution Index is a simple and generalized way to describe the air quality,which is used in Malaysia. It is calculated from several sets of air pollution data and was formerly used in mainland China and Hong Kong. In mainland China the API was replaced by an updated air quality index in early 2012 and on 30 December 2013 Hong Kong moved to a health based index.
The Action Blue Sky Campaign is an environmental campaign in Hong Kong,organised by the Environmental Protection Department,to clean up the city's air pollution. It was officially launched by Chief Executive Donald Tsang on July 25,2006. According to a press release of the Hong Kong government,its campaign slogan in Chinese is "全城投入 為藍天打氣",while its campaign slogan in English is "Clean Air for a Cool Hong Kong!" The campaign hopes to win support from the public as well as the business community,including those businesses investing in the Pearl River Delta Region.
Clear The Air is a voluntary organisation aiming at reducing air pollution in Hong Kong. It was founded on 10 December 1997 as a Society under the Societies Ordinance. It is self-sustained and is supported by individual membership fees and member donations.
Air pollution in Hong Kong is considered a serious problem. In 2004,visibility was less than eight kilometers for 30 per cent of the year. Cases of asthma and bronchial infections have soared due to reduced air quality. However,in recent years,the hours of reduced visibility in Hong Kong have decreased by significant amounts compared to the previous ten years.

The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce was founded on 29 May 1861,and is the oldest and one of the largest business organizations in Hong Kong. It has around 4,000 corporate members,who combined employ around one-third of Hong Kong's workforce. It is a self-funding,not-for-profit organization that promotes and represents the interests of the Hong Kong business community. West Kowloon station,also known as Hong Kong West Kowloon,is the southern terminus of and the only station on the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL). The station connects to China's high-speed rail (HSR) network across the border through dedicated tunnels and includes a Mainland Port Area where the laws of (Mainland) China are enforced. The adoption of electric vehicles in Hong Kong is actively supported by the Hong Kong government,which recognizes battery electric vehicles,plug-in hybrids,and conventional hybrid electric vehicles to be environmentally friendly and eligible for financial incentives. As of 31 October 2017,there were 11,039 electric vehicles in Hong Kong,up from less than 100 in 2010. At present,73 EV models from eight countries have been approved by the Transport Department to be eligible for the incentives. These include 51 models for private cars and motorcycles and 22 models for public transport and commercial vehicles.
Kelly Tung Kin-lei is a Hong Kong politician associated with the pro-Beijing Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong. She was a member of the Sha Tin District Council for the constituency of Tai Wai between 2015 and 2019.
Ng Cho-nam,SBS,JP,was a Hong Kong environmental studies scholar and conservationist who taught as an associate professor within the Department of Geography at the University of Hong Kong. He served as a top advisor on numerous Hong Kong government committees in areas of conservation,sustainable development,environmental protection,urban planning,and was an active member in various environmental NGOs. He was the director of the Conservancy Association from 2000 to 2019.
The election for the Hong Kong deputies to the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) was held on 15 December 2022. 36 Hong Kong deputies were elected by an electoral college composed of 1,420 members.
