Saul Msane was a South African politician and an intellectual, a prominent member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church and a newspaper editor. He was one of the founding members of the African National Congress and served as its Secretary General from 1917 to 1924. [1] [2] [3]

He died at the home of a Dr Tittlestad, at Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal on 6 November 1919.[ citation needed ]

The 53rd National Conference of the African National Congress (ANC) was held in Mangaung, Free State from 16 to 20 December 2012, during the centenary of the ANC's establishment, also in Mangaung. He previously served as the Provincial Secretary and as the Deputy Provincial Secretary of the party.

Nontobeko Eveline Vilakazi is a South African politician serving as the Northern Cape MEC for Social Development since June 2020. She has been a Member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature since May 2019. From May 2019 to June 2020, she was the Northern Cape MEC for Transport and Safety Liaison. Vilakazi is a member of the African National Congress and the provincial secretary of the party's women's league.

Galerekwe Mase Manopole is a South African politician who has served as the Northern Cape MEC for Land Reform, Agriculture and Nature Conservation and Environmental Affairs since June 2020. She was the MEC for Health from May 2019 to June 2020. She joined the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature in October 2017. From May 2014 to October 2017, she was a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces, representing the Northern Cape. Manopole is a member of the African National Congress.

Barbara Martha Bartlett is a South African politician. A member of the African National Congress, she has been serving as a permanent delegate to the National Council of Provinces since June 2020. From May 2014 to June 2020, Bartlett was a Member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature and a Member of the Executive Council in the provincial government.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mac Jack</span> South African politician (1965–2020)

McCollen Ntsikelelo Jack, known as Mac Jack, was a South African educator and politician. A member of the African National Congress, Jack was appointed to the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature in June 2013. He served as the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Transport, Safety and Liaison from June 2013 until May 2014, when he was appointed the MEC for Health. Following a cabinet reshuffle in March 2016, he was appointed the MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism. Jack held the position until his appointment as MEC for Education in May 2019, despite him briefly being demoted from the Executive Council in May 2017.

Thembi Portia Msane is a South African Member of Parliament for the Economic Freedom Fighters. Prior to serving in parliament, she was a member of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature from 2014 to 2019. As of September 2020, she is an alternate member of the Portfolio Committee On Trade and Industry.

Dingaan Jacob Myolwa is a South African politician from the Eastern Cape who is a Member of the National Assembly for the African National Congress (ANC). He was appointed to parliament in 2021. Myolwa had previously served as a member of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature from 2013 to 2014 and before that, as mayor of the OR Tambo District Municipality.

Terence Skhumbuzo Mpanza is a South African politician. He is a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa. Mpanza is a member of the African National Congress.
