The Screech Owls is a Canadian mystery television series based on Roy MacGregor's The Screech Owls book series, that originally aired on YTV from September 1, 2000, to February 1, 2002. [1] It was nominated for Best Children's or Youth Series or Program at the 16th Gemini Awards in 2001. [2] Jonathan Malen was nominated at the Young Artist's Awards. [3] In the USA, it was aired alongside other Canadian imports on Discovery Kids.

Plot

The plot centers on "The Screech Owls", who are one of the great contenders of the Lapine Cup. They solve mysteries that are occurring in the town of Tamarack, between the games.

The Kids in the Hall: Death Comes to Town is an eight-episode Canadian dark comedy miniseries that aired on CBC Television on Tuesdays between January 12 and March 16, 2010. The show takes place in a fictional Ontario town called Shuckton whose mayor has been murdered. Chroma is a one-act contemporary ballet created by Wayne McGregor for the Royal Ballet. The work received its premiere at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, on 17 November 2006. The ballet is performed to a combination of original music by Joby Talbot and arrangements of music by Jack White of the White Stripes, with orchestrations by Christopher Austin.
