The company was founded in 1985. [1] [2] Sensi Seeds is the world's largest cannabis seed producer [3] with the world's largest cannabis seed bank, [4] [5]

Sensi Seeds was founded by Ben Dronkers, who also founded Amsterdam's Hash, Marihuana & Hemp Museum. [6]

Cannabis sinsemilla also known as sensimilla, sinse or sensi is the female Cannabis plant that has not been fertilized and therefore does not develop seeds, increasing the density of cannabinoids and terpenes. This cultivation technique emerged in Michoacán, Mexico, in the 1970s and consists of separating male plants as soon as they are known to be male, in order to avoid pollination of female pistils. The seeds are not useful for recreational purposes, and require the plant to make a great expenditure of energy that could be invested in increasing the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) of the inflorescences (buds).

The High TimesCannabis Cup is a cannabis festival held each November in Amsterdam. It was founded in 1988 by Steven Hager. The event allows judges from around the world to sample and vote for their favorite marijuana varieties. These judges-at-large decide the Cannabis Cup, best new product, best booth, best glass, best hash and best Nederhash. A team of VIP judges decides which seed company has grown the best indica, sativa and hybrid strain and which company has produced the best Nederhash and best imported hash. The High Times Cannabis Cup also includes live music, educational seminars and an expo for marijuana-related products from cannabis-oriented businesses.

Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky

Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky was a Prussian merchant with a successful trade in trinkets, silk, taft, porcelain, grain and bills of exchange. Moreover, he acted as a diplomat and important art dealer. His paintings formed the basis and the beginning of the collection in the Hermitage Museum. He is considered one of the most important German monetary theorists of his time. As master of the mints in Prussia, he implemented a major coin reform, with the goal of implementing a new monetary standard to promote trade, increase seigniorage income and elevate the Prussian coins to the status of a reserve currency. Graumann was portrayed by his contemporaries as a dreamer. With only a slight modification, his coin standard remained in place in Germany until 1907.
