Seo District (Seo-gu) is a gu ("district") of Daejeon, South Korea. Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall is also located there.

Places of Interest

Dunsan-dong is one of the more densely populated areas of Daejeon. As a result, it is the location of several points of interest. These include department stores, government offices, and several international chain restaurants and retailers. There is Pai Chai University in Seo District, Daejeon. There is also Hanbat Arboretum. There is also the "Cafe Wave". There is an Art Center. Jangtae Recreational Forest is located in the district.

Also, Daejeon Arts Center, a representative general concert hall in Daejeon, is also located in Seo-gu.

Expo Science Park is a science park in Yuseong-gu to the north of Daejeon, South Korea, built for Taejŏn Expo '93. Facilities at Expo Park included a garden, amusement park, and observation tower. While the tower and some buildings remain, most of the expo buildings have now been removed. The Daejeon Convention Center became the first convention center in the city in 2008 and opened their second building in 2022.

Daejeoncheon is a national river of South Korea within the Geum River system, and one of the three major rivers that flow through Daejeon metropolitan city. The river originates within Daejeon, at Mr. Manin and Mt. It is located between City Hall Station and Kalma Station of Daejeon City Railway Line 1. It is 10.76 kilometres (6.69 mi) away from Panam. On the southern side of the station are the Bank of Korea, Eulji University Hospital, Seo-gu Office, and Sunmori Park. On the north side, there are Daejeon Government Building, Chungcheong Regional Statistical Office, Daejeon Government Complex Inter-City Bus Terminal, Dusan Seonja Site and Daejeon Regional Food and Drug Administration. There are also Boramae Crossing, Bukchung Crossing, Seokgung Crossing, and Prehistoric Crossing around government ministry.
