In 1989 his no copyright, self distributed song Radiogladio got him international attention.[1] Subsequently he produced Curre curre guaglio', 99 Posse's debut album,[2] and then his own La Vendetta del Mulino Bianco. As a remixer he's worked with many Italian musicians, including Avion Travel, Casino Royale and Elio e le Storie Tese. His Radio art works have been produced and broadcast by many stations worldwide since the late 80es, including the Italian RAI and the Austrian ORF. Since 1996 Messina has a page on the underground music magazine Rumore.[3] From 2003 until 2007 he collaborated with the Italian edition of Rolling Stone magazine, writing about technology,[3] rock'n'roll,[3] and holding a column on alternative sexualities.[3]
Since 2000, he has researched what he defines as Realcore (own term): digital amateur pornography freely distributed online. Between 2005 and 2012, he toured Europe with a live show entitled Realcore: the digital porno revolution, combining elements of research and performance. Mark Dery wrote in 2006: "Messina, 47, is the Margaret Mead of alt sex on the Internet."[4] In 2009, he spent a semester at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as a Visiting Artist and Faculty.

Futurist architecture is an early-20th century form of architecture born in Italy, characterized by long dynamic lines, suggesting speed, motion, urgency and lyricism: it was a part of Futurism, an artistic movement founded by the poet Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, who produced its first manifesto, the Manifesto of Futurism, in 1909. The Pesaro Altarpiece is an oil on panel painting by Giovanni Bellini, dated to some time between 1471 and 1483. It is considered one of Bellini's first mature works, though there are doubts on its dating and on who commissioned it. The work's technique is not only an early use of oils but also of blue smalt, a by-product of the glass industry. It had already been used in the Low Countries in Bouts' 1455 The Entombment, but this marked smalt's first use in Italian art, twenty years before Leonardo da Vinci used it in Ludovico il Moro's apartments in Milan in 1492. Bellini also uses the more traditional lapis lazuli and azurite for other blues in the work.
Minerva between Geometry and Arithmetic is a 1550 fresco fragment, usually attributed to Paolo Veronese but by some art historians to Anselmo Canera or Giambattista Zelotti. It was painted for the Palazzo de Soranzi in Castelfranco Veneto but now in the Palazzo Balbi in Venice.
