Seth Kimbrough is a professional BMX rider and musician, appearing as the vocalist for Mortal Treason. Seth is sponsored by Hoffman Bikes and The Shadow Conspiracy. Seth is heavily involved with motorcycles, track riding and mountain biking. He currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Biography

Seth Kimbrough is a professional BMX rider, sponsored by Hoffman Bikes and The Shadow Conspiracy, and has been in many notable BMX events such as the X-games and the Gravity Games. [2]

Seth has appeared on Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 as a playable character.

Mortal Treason

In 2001 Seth formed the band Mortal Treason alongside Bruce Crisman, Josh Jarrett, Richie Reale and Chase Nikkins. [1] Mortal Treason released their debut album " A Call to the Martyrs " in 2004. Mortal Treason went on several tours including the Rise of The Robots tour alongside The Showdown and Staple. [3]

The band encountered many problems which led to some of the members leaving. After a quick search for members Adam Wright, TJ Alford, Steve Robinson and Seth's then wife, Elizabeth Kimbrough, joined the band. The band soon released their new album " Sunrise Over a Sea of Blood " in 2005, which contained elements of Death metal. The band has of late split up, members of the band said that they believed "God has something else planned for us", but there were also rumors of label problems. As of 2014, Mortal Treason is back together with new tour dates coming soon.

Misery Chastain

Two years after the disestablishment of Mortal Treason Seth announced that he was performing in a new band called Misery Chastain. Misery Chastain has uploaded three songs to their MySpace page entitled "The Unseen", "Behold the Beast" and "Under a Weeping Sky".

Misery Chastain is currently touring around Alabama with bands such as Hidden Among Heroes and Me at the Least. [4]

In March 2009 Misery Chastain released their debut entitled Awaiting the End.

Misery Chastain broke up in 2010.

Seth Kimbrough attended the X-games in 2000 and 2001; he has finished 4th and 15th respectively.

David Michael Mirra was an American BMX rider who also competed in rallycross racing. He set the record for most medals in BMX Freestyle at the X Games and earned at least one BMX medal at the event in all but one year from the competition's inception in 1995 until 2009. He also competed for several years with the Subaru Rally Team USA as a rallycross driver. Mirra rode for and was fully sponsored by Haro Bikes from the mid-1990s until he started his own bike company. He was a member of the team which won the 2014 Race Across America four-person male category. Mirra died by suicide on February 4, 2016. He was inducted into the BMX Hall of Fame on June 11, 2016.

Bob Haro is an American former professional freestyle BMX rider turned artist and business executive. He is the founder of Haro Bikes and was one of the most important early innovators of BMX freestyle.

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 is a BMX video game endorsed by Mat Hoffman and published by Activision under the Activision O2 label. A Game Boy Advance port was developed by HotGen and released the same day as the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions. Sunrise Over a Sea of Blood is the second album from the Christian Deathcore band Mortal Treason. It is the first album to feature bassist TJ Alford, pianist Elizabeth Kimbrough, drummer Steve Robinson, and rhythm guitarist Adam Wright.

Scotty Cranmer is an American BMX rider. He is tied with Dave Mirra for the most X Games BMX Park medals with nine, three each in gold, silver and bronze over fourteen appearances. He attended Jackson Memorial High School. Nicknamed "the Bulldozer", he is sponsored by Vans Shoes, Hyper Bike Co., Fox Clothing, Pro-tec Helmets, Monster Energy Drink and Snafu. He owns a bike shop in Howell, NJ called SC Action Sports Bicycle Shop. He is also widely known for having a YouTube channel under the name Scotty Cranmer in which he makes videos with his friends riding skateparks, driving cars, and playing games while riding their bikes. His younger brother Matty is a regular guest on the channel. As of June 2021, the channel has accumulated over 1.71 million subscribers and 500 million total views since releasing his first video in September 2015.

A Call to the Martyrs is the debut album from the Christian deathcore band Mortal Treason.

Mortal Treason is an American metalcore band from the Huntsville, Alabama area. Their first album A Call to the Martyrs was released in 2004. Then after major lineup changes, its second album Sunrise over a Sea of Blood was released in 2005. After a quick tour, Mortal Treason decided to disband. On December 8, 2014, most of the original members returned and are currently writing new material. The band is currently on a brief hiatus due to family issues.

Dhers lived in Greenville, North Carolina, known as Protown USA because of the concentration of BMX riders that live there, including Dave Mirra. Dhers in 2013 opened in Holly Springs, North Carolina a public mountain biking, BMX, and skateboarding park, the Daniel Dhers Action Sports Complex.

The American Freestyle Association (AFA) was the first governing body for BMX freestyle in the 1980s. It was founded by Bob Morales in 1981. The first contest was held at Lakewood, Ca in 1981. Pioneer Riders in 1981 were Eddie Fiola, William Crazy Lacy Furmage, Fred Becker, Tony Ray Davis and Richard Bailey - The AFA started out as the Amateur Skate Park Association promoting events at skateboard parks and gained early notoriety with a series call the "King of the Skateparks" series. BMX Action magazine covered these events helping to bring attention to this new sport. During that time BMX Freestyle consisted of Vert competition and the Flatland Division. The AFA was so popular that virtually every state throughout the country held local events.

Nitro Circus is an "action sport collective" led by Travis Pastrana, featuring his friends and him traveling around the world riding dirtbikes, BASE jumping, and performing stunts. Co-founded in 2003 by Pastrana, Nitro Circus has become a media company that produces television programming, documentaries and the Nitro Circus Live tour. In 2016, the company introduced the Nitro World Games, an action sports competition designed around pushing progression in core action sports disciplines like FMX, BMX, skate and scooter.

He began riding in 1987 after being influenced by a Dennis McCoy demo clip on his local news station.

Misery Chastain was a Christian deathcore band, that was formed by Seth Kimbrough, after his former band, Mortal Treason, disbanded. They have toured with bands such as A Plea For Purging, Whitechapel, War of Ages, Mychildren Mybride, and Becoming the Archetype.
