Sujith Vasudevan I (born 3 October 1969), professionally credited as Sharreth, is an Indian music director and singer. [1] He predominantly composes film scores and songs for Malayalam films, but has gone on to compose for Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films too.
He won the Filmfare Award for the best music director in 2008. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director in 2011 for the film Ivan Megharoopan . He was also the first recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Classical Music Singer for his song Bhavayami in the film Meghatheertham. He is the son-in-law of famous music director Kannur Rajan.
Born to Vasudevan Achari and Indiradevi in Kollam, [2] Kerala, India, Sharreth is a protégé of carnatic music virtuoso M. Balamuralikrishna. He made his debut as a film composer in 1990 through the Malayalam language film Kshanakkathu . Prior to debuting as a composer, Sharreth had a sporadic presence as a playback singer for films. His first song was 'Dum dum dum', a duet with K. S. Chithra for the Malayalam film Onningu Vannengil (1985).
Sharreth is married to Seetha Rajan daughter of Kannur Rajan since 19 March 1999. They have a daughter Diya born in 2006.
He was one of the permanent judges of Idea Star Singer on Asianet till the end of the fifth season. From 26 September 2011, he has become a judge along with P. Jayachandran on the Amrita TV musical reality show Super Star – the Ultimate. [3] From May 2012, he has become a judge along with Ouseppachan and S. P. Shylaja on the Kairali TV's Gandharava Sangeetham. From February 2013, he was a judge along with K. S. Chithra, Srinivas and Sujatha on the Mazhavil Manorama's singing reality show Indian Voice (season 2) and Indian Voice Junior. His memoir written by Sanjeev Pillai titled Aathmaraagam was published by Litmus Publications (an imprint of DC Books) in 2014. At present, he is one of the permanent judges of Star Singer hosted by Asianet from 2020, along with K .S Chithra, G. Venugopal, Stephen Devassy and Manjari.

Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra is an Indian playback singer and Carnatic musician. In a career spanning over four decades, she has recorded over 30,000 songs in various Indian languages, as well as foreign languages such as Malay, Latin, Arabic, Sinhalese, English and French. She is also known for her extensive history of collaboration with music composers like A. R. Rahman, Ilaiyaraja, Hamsalekha, M. M. Keeravani and with the playback singers K. J. Yesudas and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam over the years. She is cited as the Golden Voice of India by world's Prestigious Royal Albert Hall, London in 2001 and Melody Queen of Indian Cinema by Radio Mirchi, The Times Group in 2016. She is honoured with the title First Ladies by the President of India in 2018 for being the first Indian woman to be honoured by British Parliament at House of Commons, United Kingdom in 2003. People of India fondly called her as Little Nightingale of Indian Cinema.
Ranjith Balakrishnan is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor who works in Malayalam cinema. Ranjith made his directorial debut in 2001 with Ravanaprabhu, the sequel to Devaasuram. His films Thirakkatha and Indian Rupee won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam in 2008 and 2011 respectively. He is also the current chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy.

Padma Shri Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, popularly known as Kaithapram, is a Malayalam lyricist, poet, music director, actor, singer, screenwriter, music therapist and performer of Carnatic music. Star Singer is an Indian music reality-television competition, broadcast on Asianet and previously sponsored by Idea Cellular. The show, which selected contestants in the age group of 15–35 years determined the winner based on their skill in singing and entertainment. From Season 1 to 7, Text messages are sent by the shows' audience to vote for the best performing participant and a small weightage of this score is considered for a candidate to be shortlisted to next round. In Season 8 voting is conducted on Disney+ Hotstar, Star Network's official OTT platform.
