Shinee World II (promoted as SHINee CONCERT "SHINee WORLD II") was the second concert tour by South Korean boy group, Shinee. The tour, travelling to different cities across Asia, began in Seoul on July 21, 2012. [1]

History

On July 21 and 22, 2012, Shinee began their second Asian tour at Olympic Gymnastics Arena and performed in front of 20,000 fans. [2] [3] Shinee stated:

It's our second concert in Korea. We gave our concert the title 'Shinee World II' because this concert will be a continuation of last year's and we plan to show our fans a totally different world of our own. We worked very hard to prepare for this concert so I think a lot of fans will be able to go home with smiles on their faces. [4]

They held concerts in Taiwan for two days, on September 15 and 16. The group performed at the Taipei Arena in front of 18,000 fans. [5] They held a concert at AsiaWorld–Arena in Hong Kong on October 27 with 10,000 fans. The local media such as Oriental Daily , Apple Daily and i-cable attended the press conference before the concert. [6] [7] On December 8, they held a concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The fans prepared a fan project in the form of birthday cakes for the members Minho and Onew, who celebrated their birthdays in December. [8]

Album

On April 2, 2014, SM Entertainment released the live album to the concert, which includes two CD's with recordings from Shinee's concert in Seoul. [9]

As an actor, Taemin's first role was as Junsu in the 2009 MBC comedy Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun.

It continued to six other countries—Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Mexico, Chile, Argentina—with Shinee performing in a total of seven cities.

Shinee World 2014 is the third Japan nationwide concert tour by South Korean boy band Shinee, to promote their third Japanese studio album I'm Your Boy. The tour kicked off in Chiba on September 28, 2014, and ended on December 19 in Hyogo, with a total of 30 concerts in 20 cities. On March 14 and 15, 2015, Shinee performed at the Tokyo Dome for the finale performance, which was also their first time performing at the venue. The tour was attended by a total of 300,000 fans.

<i>1 of 1</i> (Shinee album) 2016 studio album by Shinee

1 of 1 is the fifth Korean studio album and the ninth overall by South Korean boy band Shinee. It was released digitally and physically on October 5, 2016, under SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music. The album contains nine songs, including the title track of the same name, "1 of 1". Musically, the album is a modernized twist on the retro genre, and stretches back to the 1980–1990 period. Additionally, based on their '90s theme, the group released a limited edition of cassette tapes alongside the CD version. In order to promote the album, Shinee appeared on several South Korean music programs, such as Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo, where they performed material from the album. On November 15, 2016, Shinee released a repackaged version of their fifth studio album titled 1 and 1 with five new songs, including the title track, "Tell Me What to Do". The album is also Shinee's last Korean album to feature Jonghyun prior to his death the following year.

Shinee World V is the fifth concert tour by South Korean boy group Shinee. The tour kicked off in Seoul with three concerts held between September 2–4, 2016.

<i>Dont Call Me</i> (album) 2021 studio album by Shinee

Don't Call Me is the seventh Korean studio album by South Korean boy group Shinee. The album was released on February 22, 2021, through SM Entertainment. It is the group's first release since three of the members completed their military service with the exception of member Taemin and also the group's first album not to feature late member Jonghyun in any capacity. Working with producers such as Dem Jointz, Yoo Young-jin, Kenzie, and Ryan S. Jhun, the album spans several genres such as pop, hip hop, EDM, R&B, and reggae. Shinee forwent an overarching theme for the album, instead opting for songs that marked the group's return after almost three years and presenting the record as a gift to fans. A repackage of the album, Atlantis, was released on April 12, 2021.

<i>Chase</i> (Minho EP) 2022 EP by Minho

Chase is the debut extended play by South Korean singer and rapper Minho. It was released on December 6, 2022, through SM Entertainment. Chase was the last in a string of solo debuts by members of the boy group Shinee. It contains six songs belonging to the hip hop and R&B genres, including lead single "Chase". It peaked at number four on South Korea's Circle Album Chart.

Shinee World VI: Perfect Illumination is the sixth concert tour by South Korean boy band Shinee. It began on June 23, 2023, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, and continued on to Japan later in the year. The tour is Shinee's first in several years, after a hiatus brought on by mandatory military service and the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been well received by critics, who have praised Shinee's live singing and performance skills, and was awarded Stage of the Year at the 2023 Melon Music Awards.
