This is the tour history of the Scottish rock band Simple Minds.

Formed in 1977, the band have toured internationally on a semi-regular basis since 1979.

Simple Minds' August 1986 shows in Paris on their Once Upon A Time Tour were recorded and released in May 1987 as the live album Live in the City of Light . The double album set reached number one on the UK Albums Chart.

Simple Minds released in May 1990 on (VHS) home video as Verona their first ever live film featuring (only) parts of their show on 15 September 1989 in Verona, Italy during their Street Fighting Years tour.

24 years later, Simple Minds released in May 2014 on DVD/CD their second ever live film titled Celebrate – Live at the Glasgow SSE Hydro featuring their complete show on 27 November 2013 at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, UK during their Greatest Hits + tour.

Simple Minds are a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1977. The most commercially successful Scottish band of the 1980s, they achieved five UK Albums chart number one albums and have sold more than 60 million albums. Despite various personnel changes, they continue to record and tour.

Babyshambles English rock band

Babyshambles is an English rock band established in London. The band was formed by Pete Doherty during a hiatus from the Libertines. As of 2013 the band includes Mick Whitnall, Drew McConnell and Adam Ficek. Gun are a hard rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band currently consists of brothers Dante Gizzi and Giuliano "Jools" Gizzi (guitar), along with Paul McManus (drums), Andy Carr (bass) and Tommy Gentry (guitar). Starting in 1989 with Taking on the World, Gun have released seven studio albums, three of which have made the UK Top 20, and had eight UK Top 40 hit singles. The most successful of these was a cover of Cameo's "Word Up!", which reached the top 10 in 1994.

James Kerr is a Scottish singer-songwriter and the lead singer of the rock band Simple Minds. He achieved five UK No. 1 albums with the band, including a No. 1 single in 1989 with "Belfast Child". He released his first solo album, Lostboy! AKA Jim Kerr, on 27 May 2010. Kerr's voice has been described as "David Bowie's rich baritone melded with Bryan Ferry's velvety croon".

Courteeners are an English guitar band formed in Middleton in 2006 by Liam Fray, Michael Campbell, Daniel "Conan" Moores and Mark Cuppello (bass); the latter was replaced by the band's producer Joe Cross in 2015. They previously toured with pianist Adam Payne, who has been featured on every album, but in 2019 was replaced with Elina Lin. In December 2012, the band dropped "The" from their name, continuing simply as "Courteeners".

The Resistance Tour concert tour by Muse

The Resistance Tour was a worldwide concert tour by English alternative rock band Muse in support of their fifth studio album The Resistance. The opening European leg began on 22 October 2009 and ended on 4 December 2009, comprising 30 shows. The second leg, which began on 7 January 2010, included thirteen shows, seven of which were part of the Australasian Big Day Out shows. A North American leg of 26 shows took place in early 2010. Nine stadium shows took place in Europe in 2010, with three of those dates taking place at Wembley Stadium and Old Trafford Cricket Ground. A second round of North American concerts took place throughout September and October 2010. These dates focused on secondary markets and other areas not previously hit on the tour. A return to Australasia took place throughout December 2010 and Muse are confirmed as openers for U2's 360° Tour dates in South America in spring 2011 and also played further European shows in the summer of 2011. At the conclusion of 2010, the tour was placed on Pollstar's annual "Year End Top 50 Worldwide Concert Tours", and appeared 13th worldwide, earning over $76 million with 64 shows in 2010.

Hurts are an English synth-pop duo formed in Manchester in 2009, consisting of singer Theo Hutchcraft and multi-instrumentalist Adam Anderson. They have released four studio albums: Happiness (2010), Exile (2013), Surrender (2015), and Desire (2017). Their first two albums both reached the top 10 in several countries.

The 20th Anniversary Tour is the eleventh headlining concert tour by American pop punk band, blink-182. The tour supports the band's sixth studio album, Neighborhoods. Originally planned to begin in Europe, the tour was postponed so the band could focus on finishing their album. The tour visited Canada in 2011, the United States and Europe in 2012, Australia in 2013, and Europe again in 2014. The 20th Anniversary Tour was the last tour with Tom DeLonge, whom left the band for the second time in 2015.

3 World Tour

#3 World Tour is the second concert tour by Irish alternative rock band The Script. Launched in support of their third studio album #3 (2012), the tour began in Ireland with two intimate shows in Cork and Dublin.

The Magna Carter World Tour was a concert tour by American rapper Jay Z. It was promoted by his twelfth studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail (2013). Following his headlining performance at the 2013 Wireless Festival, Jay Z and promoters Live Nation announced a European and North American headlining tour. The venture was Jay Z's first solo headlining tour in almost four years, following 2009's Fall Tour. According to Pollstar, The tour earned total $48.9m from 52 shows.

Big Music is the sixteenth studio album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds. It was released on 31 October 2014 by Sony Music. "Honest Town" was released as the lead single on 10 October 2014. The album was available to stream from 28 October 2014.

The Chasing Yesterday Tour is a concert tour by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds to support Gallagher's 2015 album Chasing Yesterday.

The Glory Days Tour 2017–2018 concert tour by Little Mix

The Glory Days Tour was the fourth concert tour and the second worldwide tour by British girl group Little Mix, in support of their fourth studio album, Glory Days. The tour began on 21 May 2017 in Birkenhead, England, and after stops in Europe, Oceania, and the United Kingdom, it ended on 26 November 2017 in London, England.

Phoenix World Tour

Phoenix World Tour is the fourth concert tour by British singer Rita Ora, in support of her second studio album, Phoenix (2018). The tour began on 1 March 2019 in Melbourne, Australia.
