The Socialist Party of Menorca (Catalan : Partit Socialista de Menorca, PSM or PSM-menorca) is a democratic socialist, environmentalist and Catalan nationalist political party in the island of Menorca, Balearic Isles, Spain. [3] It is the major party in the More for Menorca coalition.
The party appeared as the merger of two socialist parties of Menorca, the Socialist Movement of Menorca and the Federalist Movement of Menorca, in 1977. In 1995 the youth wing of the party, Joventuts d'Esquerra Nacionalista was created.
Initiative for Catalonia Greens was an eco-socialist political party in Catalonia. It was formed as a merger of Iniciativa per Catalunya and Els Verds. IC had been an alliance led by Partit Socialista Unificat de Catalunya and was the equivalent of Izquierda Unida in Catalonia. IC later developed into a political party, and PSUC was dissolved.
The Unified Socialist Party of Catalonia was a communist political party active in Catalonia between 1936 and 1997. It was the Catalan branch of the Communist Party of Spain and the only party not from a sovereign state to be a full member of the Third International.

Més per Mallorca is a Majorcan political coalition formed by Socialist Party of Majorca (PSM), IniciativaVerds (IV) and Entesa per Mallorca (ExM), as well as some small independent, local parties around the island. The 37th Federal Congress of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party was held in Madrid from 4 to 6 July 2008, to renovate the governing bodies of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) and establish the party's main lines of action and strategy for the next leadership term. It was held shortly after the party's victory in the 2008 general election and saw José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero being re-elected unopposed for a third term as party secretary-general, with 98.5% of the delegate vote in the congress and 1.5% of blank ballots (14).

The Democratic Pact for Catalonia was a Catalan electoral alliance established in May 1977 ahead of the Spanish Congress of Deputies 15 June election. It ran on a political platform emphasizing the need of approving a statute of autonomy for Catalonia. It was dissolved in 1978 when its two components merged with the Socialist Party of Catalonia–Regrouping (PSC–R) into the Socialists' Party of Catalonia (PSC).
Entesa per Mallorca, or Entesa, was a nationalist and progressist political party in Majorca. It was founded in 2006 by former members of the Socialist Party of Majorca (PSM) who disagreed with the creation of the coalition Bloc for Majorca. In October 2006, ExM held its first congress, with the main objective of participating in the 2007 local elections in Majorca.
