The Social Solidarity party (Al-Takaful) is an Egyptian Islamist party with a membership of around 970 members. Five candidates affiliated with this party ran in the 2000 legislative elections.

The Communist Party Of China (CPC), unofficially the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), is the founding and sole governing political party of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The CPC leads eight other legally permitted subordinate minor parties together as the United Front. The CPC was founded in 1921, mainly by Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao, with the help of the Far Eastern Bureau of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and Far Eastern Secretariat of the Communist International. The party grew quickly, and by 1949 the Kuomintang (KMT)'s Nationalist Government had been driven from mainland China to Taiwan after the Chinese Civil War, leading to the establishment of the People's Republic of China on 1 October 1949.
The Republican Party, also referred to as the GOP, is one of the two major contemporary political parties in the United States, along with its main historic rival, the Democratic Party.
The Conservative Party, officially the Conservative and Unionist Party, and also known colloquially as the Tories, Tory Party, or simply the Conservatives, is a political party in the United Kingdom. The Bloc Québécois is a federal political party in Canada devoted to Quebec nationalism and the promotion of Quebec sovereignty. The Bloc was formed by Members of Parliament (MPs) who defected from the federal Progressive Conservative Party and Liberal Party during the collapse of the Meech Lake Accord. Founder Lucien Bouchard was a cabinet minister in the federal Progressive Conservative government of Brian Mulroney.
The Social Democratic Party of Germany is a social democratic political party in Germany. It is one of the two major parties of contemporary Germany along with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). Saskia Esken and Norbert Walter-Borjans have been the party's leaders since the 2019 leadership election. The SPD is a junior member of the federal government along with the CDU/CSU which was first formed after the 2013 federal election and renewed in 2017. The SPD is a member of 11 of the 16 German state governments and is a leading partner in seven of them. It won the most seats at the 2021 federal election though no new government, with or without the party's participation, has yet been established.

The People's Party of Canada is a federal political party in Canada. The party was formed by Maxime Bernier in September 2018, shortly after his resignation from the Conservative Party of Canada. Bernier, a former candidate for the 2017 Conservative Party of Canada leadership election and cabinet minister, was the party's only Member of Parliament (MP) from its founding in 2018 to his defeat in the 2019 Canadian federal election. The PPC formed electoral district associations (EDAs) in 326 ridings, and ran candidates in 315 ridings, of Canada's total 338 ridings, in the 2019 federal election; however, no candidate was elected under its banner and Bernier lost his bid for personal re-election in Beauce. They ran 312 candidates in the 2021 Canadian federal election; none were elected to parliament, despite a gain in the popular vote to five percent.
The 2021 Canadian federal election was held on September 20, 2021, to elect members of the House of Commons to the 44th Canadian Parliament. The writs of election were issued by Governor General Mary May Simon on August 15, 2021, when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau requested the dissolution of parliament for a snap election.
