The South Atlantic League Hall of Fame is an American baseball hall of fame which honors players, managers, executives, and other associates of the Class A South Atlantic League of Minor League Baseball and its predecessor, the Western Carolinas League, for their accomplishments or contributions to the league in playing, administrative, or other roles. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class in 1994. As of 2018, 113 individuals have been inducted into the South Atlantic League Hall of Fame. [1]

Rich Dauer American baseball player

Richard Fremont Dauer is an American baseball former infielder and coach in Major League Baseball (MLB). He spent his entire 10-year MLB playing career with the Baltimore Orioles, winning the 1983 World Series. He was primarily a second baseman, and also played third base. Following his career as a player, he spent 19 seasons as an MLB coach for numerous teams, winning the World Series in 2017 as the first base coach for the Houston Astros.

Vern Handrahan Canadian baseball player

James Vernon Handrahan was a Canadian professional baseball pitcher who played for the Kansas City Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB) in 1964 and 1966. He is noted for being one of only three major-league players from Prince Edward Island, the others being 19th-century outfielder George Wood and catcher Henry Oxley.

Dave Trembley American baseball coach and manager

David Michael Trembley is an American professional baseball executive who served as director of player development of the Atlanta Braves in 2015. Trembley has been the bench coach for the Houston Astros, and a manager of the Baltimore Orioles. Before managing the Orioles Trembley was a minor league manager for twenty seasons compiling a 1369–1413 record. He won two league titles and earned Manager of the Year awards in three leagues. In December 2001, Baseball America selected him as one of minor league baseball's top five managers of the previous 20 years. He served as a coach in the inaugural Futures Game in 1999 and also served as manager for the Southern League and Double-A All-Star Games that season. Trembley has worked for the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres and Atlanta Braves.

Marvin Goldklang is a minority owner of the New York Yankees and the majority owner of the Pittsfield (Mass.) Suns. He is also the principal owner of the Fort Myers Miracle, the Minnesota Twins' entry in the Class A Florida State League; Charleston RiverDogs, the New York Yankees’ affiliate in the Class A South Atlantic League, and the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Tampa Bay Rays’ affiliate in the short-season New York–Penn League. Since 2004, he has been in the Hall of Fame of the South Atlantic League. He was inducted in the Florida State League Hall of Fame in 2010, the New York Penn League Hall of Fame in 2018 and was elected to the board of trustees for Minor League Baseball in 2014.

The Texas League Hall of Fame is an American baseball hall of fame which honors players, managers, and executives of the Double-A Texas League of Minor League Baseball for their accomplishments or contributions to the league in playing, administrative, or other roles. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class in 2004. As of 2016, 138 individuals have been inducted into the Texas League Hall of Fame.

International League Hall of Fame Professional sports hall of fame

The International League Hall of Fame is an American baseball hall of fame which honors players, managers, and executives of the International League (IL). It was created by the International League Baseball Writers' Association in 1947 to honor those individuals who made significant contributions to the league. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class of nine former players, managers, and league officials in 1947. A plaque was unveiled at the IL's New York City offices located in the Ruppert Building at 535 Fifth Avenue. Today, the plaque has no permanent home, but exists as a traveling display which visits a number of the league's ballparks each season.

Wilburn Edward "Eddy" Furniss III is an American retired professional baseball first baseman and designated hitter. A standout college baseball player for Louisiana State University (LSU), Furniss has been inducted into the College Baseball Hall of Fame, the LSU Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. He is the 10th athlete, and 2nd baseball player, in LSU history to have his number retired.

Bill Wilhelm American baseball player and coach

Billy Wilhelm was an American college baseball coach who was the head coach of the Clemson Tigers from 1958 to 1993. In his 36 seasons as head coach, Wilhelm had a record of 1,161–536–10. Before coming to Clemson, Wilhelm played several seasons of minor league baseball and served one season as an assistant baseball coach at North Carolina.

Matthew John Quatraro is an American professional baseball former minor league player and minor league manager, and current coach. He is the bench coach of the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Southern League Hall of Fame Professional sports hall of fame

The Southern League Hall of Fame is an American baseball hall of fame which honors players, managers, coaches, umpires, owners, executives, and media personnel of the Southern League of Minor League Baseball for their accomplishments and/or contributions to the league and its teams. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class in 2014. Through the elections for 2020, a total of 45 people have been inducted.

John Henry Moss American politician

John Henry Moss was a baseball executive and politician. Well known for his strong leadership and organizational skills, Moss was a key contributor to the development of Minor League Baseball during more than six decades, helping bring professional baseball to 43 United States cities represented by 114 ownership groups, by stressing the importance of providing quality, wholesome, family-friendly entertainment at an affordable price. Over the years, Moss gained inductions into five Halls of Fame and also received numerous honours for his commendable contributions to baseball.

The New York–Penn League Hall of Fame is an American baseball hall of fame which honors players, managers, and executives of the New York–Penn League of Minor League Baseball for their accomplishments or contributions to the league in playing or administrative roles. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class in 2012. As of 2018, 27 individuals have been inducted into the New York–Penn League Hall of Fame.

Darren Fenster American baseball player and manager

Darren Fenster is a former professional baseball player and manager who works in the Minor League Baseball system of the Boston Red Sox. As a player, he was listed at 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 m) and 175 pounds (79 kg) while batting and throwing right-handed.
