Jombang Regency is a regency of East Java, Indonesia, situated to the southwest of Surabaya. The capital of the regency is the town of Jombang. The regency has an area of 1,159.50 km2 and a population of 1,202,407 at the 2010 census and 1,318,062 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 1,370,510. It became a regency in 1910. It was the birthplace of Abdurrahman Wahid, the 4th president of Indonesia.
Pamekasan Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of the province of East Java, Indonesia. It is located on Madura Island approximately 120 kilometres (75 mi) east of Surabaya, the provincial capital. The regency covers an area of 792.30 square kilometres (305.91 sq mi), and at the 2010 census it had a population of 795,918 ; at the 2020 census the total was 850,057 and the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 882,837 – comprising 431,891 males and 450,946 females. The administrative capital is the town of Pamekasan.

It covers an area of 13,075.28 km2, and had a population of 70,619 at the 2010 Census, and 118,679 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2023 was 129,963. Its administrative centre is the town of Aimas. Sorong Regency surrounds Sorong City (Kota) on the landward side; the city is administratively independent of the Regency and is not included in the above statistics; Sorong City has an airport, Sorong Airport, which also serves the Regency.
Mojokerto Regency is a regency in East Java Province of Indonesia. It is part of the Surabaya metropolitan area which comprises Gresik Regency, Bangkalan Regency, Mojokerto Regency, Mojokerto City, Surabaya City, Sidoarjo Regency, and Lamongan Regency. The Regency covers an area of 969.36 km2. The population of the Regency was 908,004 in 2000, but had risen to 1,025,443 at the 2010 Census and to 1,119,209 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2022 was 1,133,584, and the total for mid-2023 was 1,145,400. Many of them earn their living as small farmers and craftsmen.
Dogiyai Regency is one of the regencies (kabupaten) in the Indonesian province of Central Papua. The Regency was created on 4 January 2008 from what had previousaly been the southern districts of Nabire Regency. It covers an area of 7,052.92 km2, and had a population of 84,230 at the 2010 Census and 116,206 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 122,993, comprising 63,955 males and 59,038 females. The administrative centre is the town of Kigamani.
Supiori Regency is a regency in the Indonesian province of Papua. The Regency has an area of 634.24 km2 including the Aruri Islands group to the south, and had a population of 15,874 at the 2010 Census and 22,547 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 23,247 - comprising 12,056 males and 11,191 females. Until 8 January 2004, this area was part of the Biak Numfor Regency, from which it was split off in accordance with the Law dated 18 December 2003.

The administrative centre is the town of Kepi.
Central Mamberamo Regency is one of the regencies (kabupaten) in the Indonesian province of Highland Papua. It covers an area of 3,743.64 km2, and had a population of 39,537 at the 2010 Census and 50,685 at the 2020 Census. The official estimate as at mid 2023 was 51,430 - comprising 27,302 males and 24,128 females. The administrative centre is at Kobakma.
Central Halmahera Regency is a regency of North Maluku Province, Indonesia. The regency was originally formed on 15 August 1990 from part of the former North Maluku Regency, but on 25 February 2003 parts of the new regency were split off to form a separate East Halmahera Regency and the city of Kota Tidore Kepulauan. It now comprises just the southern half of the southeastern peninsula of Halmahera Island, together with part of the southern peninsula of that island.

It covers an area of 14,320 km2, and had a population of 66,828 at the 2010 Census and 87,894 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 88,884. The administrative centre is the town of Fakfak.
Manokwari Regency is a regency in West Papua, Indonesia. Following the splitting away of twenty of its former districts in 2013, it now covers an area of 2,762.89 km2 and had a population of 192,663 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 201,821. The administrative centre is presently at the town of Manokwari, which is also the capital of the province.
Maybrat Regency is a regency of Southwest Papua Province of Indonesia. It has an area of 5,461.69 km2 (2,108.77 sq mi), and had a population of 33,081 at the 2010 Census and 42,991 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 46,287. The administrative centre is the town of Kumurkek, in Aifat District. The Maybrat language is spoken in the regency.
Raja Ampat Regency is a regency of Southwest Papua Province of Indonesia. The regency, which was formed by separating the archipelago from Sorong Regency, based on the Law 26 of 2002, was inaugurated on 12 April 2003. It consists of a number of groups of islands situated off the north-west end of West Papua; the four main islands from south to north are Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo. At present, the regency covers a land area of 7,559.60 km2, with a total area stated as 67,379.61 km2. It had a population of 42,508 at the 2010 Census and 64,141 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 68,501. The principal town lies at Waisai on Waigeo Island.
South Sorong Regency is a regency of Southwest Papua province of Indonesia. It has an area of 6,570.23 km2, and had a population of 37,900 at the 2010 Census and 52,469 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 54,277. The administrative centre is the town of Teminabuan.
Tambrauw Regency is a regency of Southwest Papua Province, Indonesia, in the Bird's Head Peninsula of Papua Island. It was created on 29 October 2008 from what had been an eastern part of Sorong Regency, originally as part of the province of West Papua. Much of the regency is located on the Tamrau Mountains that the local government declarated Tambrauw as a "conservation regency".
Teluk Bintuni Regency or Bintuni Bay Regency is a regency of West Papua Province of Indonesia. It covers an area of 18,637 km2, comprising administrative districts on three sides of Bintuni Bay, a gulf that separates the Bird's Head Peninsula and Bomberai Peninsula which together form the main geographical constituents of the province; it had a population of 52,422 at the 2010 Census and 87,083 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 90,101. The administrative centre is the town of Bintuni.
Teluk Wondama Regency or Wondama Bay Regency is a regency of West Papua province of Indonesia. The Regency contains several coastal districts in Wondiboy Peninsula but also including a number of islands in the southwest part of Cenderawasih Bay. It covers a land area of 4,844.035 km2, and had a population of 26,321 at the 2010 Census and 41,644 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 44,534. The administrative centre lies in the village of Rasiei.
North Toraja is a landlocked regency (kabupaten) of South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia, and the home of the Toraja ethnic group. The local government seat is in Rantepao which is also the center of Toraja culture. Formerly this regency was the northern part of Tana Toraja Regency, but on 24 June 2008 the northeastern 36% of the latter's area was split off to form this separate North Toraja Regency. It covers an area of 1,289.13 km2 and had a population of 216,762 at the 2010 census and 261,086 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 261,652, comprising 133,529 males and 128,123 females.
Arfak Mountains Regency is a regency of the West Papua Province of Indonesia. It was formed in 2013 from the western districts of Manokwari Regency. The areas now comprised in the new regency had a population of 23,877 at the 2010 Census, which rose to 38,941 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 40,685. The administrative centre is the town of Anggi.
