Sparrow, Missouri

Sparrow is an unincorporated community in Henry County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] The community is on Missouri Route AA approximately two miles southeast of Clinton. Dumpling Creek flows past the east side of the community and enters the South Grand River within Harry S Truman Reservoir about two miles to the south. [2]

History

A post office called Sparrow was established in 1882, and remained in operation until 1901. [3] The community took its name from nearby Sparrow Creek. [4]
