Sri Raghupati is an Indian Assamese-language crime thriller film directed by Suvrat Kakoti. It stars Ravi Sarma, Arun Hazarika, Arun Nath, Priyam Pallavi, and Preety Kongana in lead roles. The film is about the issue of women trafficking in the region. It was released in Assam and some cities outside Assam. [2] It is the highest grossing Assamese film of all time surpassing Ratnakar (2019).

Jetuka Pator Dore is a 2011 Indian Assamese drama film based on the novel of the same name by Syed Abdul Malik. The film stars Aimee Baruah and Raag Oinitom, was directed by Jadumoni Dutta and produced by Noorul Sultan for Maina Industrial Co-Operative Society Ltd. The storyline is set to the backdrop of an interior village of Assam, India in the 1970s, which has never seen progress and prosperity, and tells the story of Radha, a young woman of lower caste fighting against corruption and for the rights of her community.

The film features Amrita Gogoi and Diganta Hazarika in lead roles while Ashramika Saikia as child artist. It is scheduled to release on 6 December 2019

Sandyaraag is a black and white Assamese language film, directed and produced by Bhabendra Nath Saikia. It was released in theatre in 1977. The film was based on a story titled 'Banprastha'. The screenplay and dialogues were written by the director himself. Sandhyaraag was awarded with silver medal for best Assamese film in the 25th National Film Awards. It is the first Assamese film to be showcased in the Indian Panorama.
