St. Barbara Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic church in downtown Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia. Built in 1914, the church is dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of mine workers. Tsumeb's economy is based on mining. In the 2000s, the Church dominated the view of downtown Tsumeb. It was built by the German South-West African colonial authorities. From the church's founding in 1914 until 1927, it functioned as the only operating church in the mining town. [1]
Oshikoto is one of the fourteen regions of Namibia, named after Lake Otjikoto. Its capital is Omuthiya. Further major settlements in the region are Tsumeb, Otjikoto's capital until 2008, and Oniipa. As of 2020, Oshikoto had 112,170 registered voters.

Otjiwarongo is a city of 28,000 inhabitants in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. It is the district capital of the Otjiwarongo electoral constituency and also the capital of Otjozondjupa.
Kombat is a mine and its associated settlement at the southern margin of the Otavi Mountain Range in northern Namibia. It is situated 37 kilometres (23 mi) East of Otavi on the B8 to Grootfontein. Kombat at its peak had over 1,000 inhabitants. As of 2015 it is almost abandoned, although Kombat Primary School still operates at reduced capacity, and a clinic is serving the remaining inhabitants.
Usakos is a town on the banks of river Khan, 140 kilometres north-east of Swakopmund in the Erongo Region of Namibia. It is located on the B2, the main road between the Walvis Bay and Johannesburg. The town has 3,000 inhabitants and owns 58 square kilometres (22 sq mi) of land.

He owns Continental Enterprises, Indongo Toyota, Frans Indongo Gardens, Farm Gelukwater, Select Service and Gas Station and various shares in mining and fishing companies in Namibia. He is the father-in-law of lawyer Sisa Namandje and banker Wosman Hamukonda. He is third on the list of Namibia's top ten richest people, behind the Pupkewitz and Olthaver & List families.
Omaruru railway station is a railway station serving the town of Omaruru in Namibia. It is part of the TransNamib railway network.
Guinas Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. It had 8,435 inhabitants in 2004 and 4,210 registered voters in 2020. Guinas consists of the rural area surrounding the mining town of Tsumeb. Larger settlements in the Guinas constituency are Oshivelo and Tsintsabis.
Tsumeb Airport is an airport serving Tsumeb, a town in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. The airport is just east of the town. Tsumeb is the location of a former mining operation and is the closest town to the Etosha National Park.

The Norasa uranium project comprises the Valencia and Namibplaas deposits in Erongo Region in the western part of Namibia. The two parts are 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) apart and both are fully owned by Forsys Metals. It represents one of the largest uranium resources in Namibia, having an estimated resource of 48,200 tU in ore grading 0.014-0.0167% uranium. The Valencia deposit was named after the farm where the uranium deposits were found.

Otavi railway station is located in the mining town of Otavi in Namibia's central Otjozondjupa Region. It is served by a mostly freight railway and limited number of passenger service. The extension of the railway towards the east to Grootfontein is exclusively for freight service.
The National Earth Science Museum in Windhoek is Namibia's central geological museum. It is maintained by the State Geological Survey of Namibia under the Ministry of Mines and Energy.
