Carthage is a village in the town of Wilna in Jefferson County, New York, United States. The population was 3,236 at the 2020 census. The village is named after the historic city of Carthage.

Liberty Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Bath in Steuben County, New York. It contains 76 commercial, residential, ecclesiastical, and civic structures in the historic core of the village. The southern part of the district is centered on Pulteney Square, a three-acre village green containing landscaped gardens, walkways, benches, fountains and a gazebo. It was one of two village greens laid out in 1793. A broad range of building types, styles, and uses dating from about 1819 to 1930 characterize the district. It is covered in Bath Village MRA. The Dwight Street Historic District is an irregularly shaped 135-acre (55 ha) historic district in New Haven, Connecticut. The district is located immediately west of the center of Downtown New Haven and is generally bounded by Elm Street on the north, Park Street on the east, North Frontage Road on the south, and Sherman Avenue on the west. It contains one of the city's highest concentrations of well-preserved 19th and early 20th-century residential architecture, much of which was developed for the working classes in the city's factories. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The historic district includes most of the Dwight neighborhood and several blocks of the northeast corner of the West River neighborhood.

State Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The district consists of the last surviving continuous row of 19th-century masonry commercial buildings within Rochester's Inner Loop. They were developed between 1825 and 1900 and the row forms an unpretentious unbroken wall of 12 buildings. The oldest building is located at 141-147 State Street and was constructed about 1825.
The Pioneer Building is a late nineteenth-century commercial/office structure located on Lawton Street in the Downtown business district of the City of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. The building is a good example of Neo-Italian Renaissance commercial style and represents an important aspect in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century history of New Rochelle. John New & Son, the New Rochelle builder responsible for its construction, is credited with its design. The Pioneer Building is considered significant, partly because other historic buildings that once surrounded it have been demolished and replaced by newer construction. It was added to the Westchester County Inventory of Historic Places on January 5, 1988, to the New York State Register of Historic Places on November 23, 1983, and to the National Register of Historic Places on December 29, 1983.
US Post Office-Carthage is a historic post office building located at Carthage in Jefferson County, New York. It was designed and built in 1934–1935, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. The one story brick building is in the Colonial Revival style. It features a central pavilion with the entrance and flanking tripartite windows, set beneath a portico supported by four Doric columns.
Main–Broad–Grove Streets Historic District is a national historic district located at Oneida in Madison County, New York. The district contains 194 contributing buildings, including Cottage Lawn and the Farnam Mansion. It is predominantly residential in character but includes two schools, five churches, and one park. It has a collection of residential types and styles from the 1830s to 1930s.
Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Afton in Chenango County, New York. The district includes 11 contributing buildings. All but one of the buildings are two or three story commercial blocks built between 1868 and 1900.
Hudson Falls Historic District is a national historic district located at Hudson Falls in Washington County, New York. It includes 148 contributing buildings, one contributing site, and two contributing objects. It encompasses the historic center of the village including residential, commercial, civic, and ecclesiastical buildings, centered on the village park. The buildings were built between 1812 and 1935, the majority between 1875 and 1900, and reflect a variety of 19th and early-20th-century architectural styles. Located within the district is the former Washington County Courthouse (1873) and the separately listed US Post Office-Hudson Falls. One of the oldest structures is a law office building constructed about 1810 and located at 177 Main Street. It is notable as having been the office for Henry C. Martindale (1780-1860) and his clerk, New York Governor Silas Wright (1795-1847).
The Hotel Gerard, currently known as aka Times Square, is a historic hotel located in New York, New York. It had also operated at the Hotel Langwell and Hotel 1-2-3. The building was designed by George Keister and built in 1893. It is a 13-story, "U"-shaped, salmon colored brick and limestone building with German Renaissance style design elements. The front facade features bowed pairs of bay windows from the third to the sixth floor and the building is topped by steeply pointed front gables and a highly decorated dormer. It was originally built as an apartment hotel.

Morris High School Historic District is a national historic district centered on a high school located at Morrisania, The Bronx, New York, New York. The district includes 51 contributing buildings. It includes the Morris High School, two streets of brick rowhouses, and Trinity Episcopal Church of Morrisania. The high school and rowhouses were built between 1897 and 1904. The church complex dates to the late-19th century, with the church started in 1874.
Summerfield Street Row Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 19 contributing buildings built in 1912. They are brick two story row houses with one apartment per floor. They feature round bays and yellow iron-spot brick facades.
