Kim Sanders is an American singer and songwriter based in Germany. Sanders began to release singles as a solo artist in 1994 and wrote songs for other musicians. In 1993 and 1994, she released three of her singles, "Show Me", "Tell Me That You Want Me" and "Ride". In 1998, Sanders became the front-woman of the German dance project Culture Beat, on the album Metamorphosis. In 2003, she released her debut album Pretty on Edge, which failed to enter the charts due to the record company placing the incorrect bar code on the album. Although this was a huge setback for Sanders' solo career, she has since collaborated with artists such as Schiller, Aural Float, Stefanie Heinzmann, Till Brönner, Nicola Conte and Wolfgang Haffner. Her solo album A Closer Look was released in 2009 with C.A.R.E. Music Group and won the Preis Der Deutschen Schallplatten Kritik in the category of Black Music, in February 2010.

It was released by Universal Music Domestic on 7 March 2008 in German-speaking Europe, after she won the television talent contest SSDSDSSWEMUGABRTLAD on the television show TV total. The album was mainly produced by Paul NZA and Marek Pompetzki. On 14 November 2008 a deluxe edition of the album was released, including the previously unreleased single "The Unforgiven" by Metallica, a cover version of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition", a B-side and two remix versions.

Stadtaffe is the first solo album by German musician Peter Fox. Released 26 September 2008, the standard version contains twelve tracks, four of which have been released as singles. Fox performed the single Schwarz zu blau at the Bundesvision Song Contest 2009 in Potsdam while representing Berlin, and won, becoming the first person to win the contest twice. Roots to Grow is the second studio album by the Swiss recording artist Stefanie Heinzmann, released by Universal Music Domestic on September 11, 2009 in German-speaking Europe. The follow-up to her platinum-certified 2008 debut album Masterplan, the singer teamed up again with producers Paul NZA and Marek Pompetzki to work on the bulk of the album, which has songwriting credits by Joss Stone, Rick Nowels, Guy Chambers, Lucie Silvas, SoShy and Bryn Christopher, among others, and collaborations with singers such as Gentleman, Ronan Keating, and group Tower of Power.

Heinzmann's recording was picked as her coronation song and debut single. Upon its release, it debuted at number-one on the Swiss Singles Chart and became a top ten hit in Austria and Germany. The song was later included on her debut album, Masterplan (2008).

I Am the Club Rocker is the second studio album recorded by Romanian singer Inna, released on 19 September 2011 by Roton as a follow-up to her 2009 album, Hot.
