Stephanie Frank Singer is an American mathematician and local politician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Early in her adulthood, Singer pursued a career in education as an assistant professor at Haverford College, serving from 1991 to 2002. She then went on to pursue careers in data science before going into politics, serving as city commissioner in Philadelphia.
Singer was born in 1964 to Maxine and Daniel Singer where she was raised in Washington, D.C..[ citation needed ]

Singer was elected Democratic Party committeeperson for Philadelphia's 8th Ward in 2008. In 2011, she was elected as a city commissioner, defeating 36-year incumbent Marge Tartaglione. Singer served one term as city commissioner from 2012 to 2015. [5] In October, 2018, Singer launched a podcast entitled Defend Democracy! where she reflects on her experience as a former election official, data strategist, and successful candidate, with advice to those who have interests in entering politics. Yvette Kosmann-Schwarzbach is a French mathematician and professor. She has been teaching mathematics at the Lille University of Science and Technology and at the École polytechnique since 1993. Kosmann-Schwarzbach obtained her doctoral degree in 1970 at the University of Paris under supervision of André Lichnerowicz on a dissertation titled Dérivées de Lie des spineurs. She is the author of over fifty articles on differential geometry, algebra and mathematical physics, as well as the co-editor of several books concerning the theory of integrable systems. The Kosmann lift in differential geometry is named after her.

Arthur Rusmiselle Miller Spaid was an American educator, school administrator, lecturer, and writer. He served as principal of Alexis I. duPont High School (1894–1903) in Wilmington, Delaware, superintendent of New Castle County Public Schools (1903–1913) in Delaware, superintendent of Dorchester County Public Schools (1913–1917) in Maryland, and Delaware State commissioner of Education (1917–1921).

She is known as a prolific author of books on mathematics, as a founder of PRIMES, the Project for Resourceful Instruction of Mathematics in the Elementary School, and for her work for equity and diversity in mathematics.
Rachel Levy is an American mathematician and blogger. She currently serves as the inaugural Executive Director of the North Carolina State University Data Science Academy. She was a 2020-21 AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow, serving in the United States Senate and sponsored by the American Mathematical Society. From 2018-2020 she served as deputy executive director of the Mathematical Association of America(2018-2020). As a faculty member at Harvey Mudd College from 2007-2019 her research was in applied mathematics, including the mathematical modeling of thin films, and the applications of fluid mechanics to biology. This work was funded by The National Science Foundation, Research Corporation, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and US Office of Naval Research.
3Blue1Brown is a math YouTube channel created by Grant Sanderson. The channel focuses on teaching higher mathematics from a visual perspective, and on the process of discovery and inquiry-based learning in mathematics, which Sanderson calls "inventing math". Topics covered include linear algebra, calculus, artificial neural networks, the Riemann hypothesis, the Fourier transform, quaternions and topology. As of December 2021, the channel has 4.19 million subscribers.
