Stephen Silver (born August 30, 1972) is a British artist, cartoonist and character designer. He is best known as the lead character designer for animated series such as Kim Possible and Danny Phantom .

History

Silver started his professional career by drawing caricatures at amusement parks in 1992. He worked for clothing company No Fear in 1996, before he got his first job in animation at Warner Bros. Animation in 1997. [1]

Animated works

In the field of animation, Silver is the lead character designer on Disney Channel's Kim Possible , [2] [3] ABC TV's Clerks: The Animated Series , and Nickelodeon's Danny Phantom (on which he was also art director). [1] [3]

His character designs for the characters of Clerks: The Animated Series inspired the animated versions of characters in the other View Askew films.

He also worked on Nickelodeon's The Fairly OddParents as the lead character designer for the Crash Nebula episode special, and some character designs for the movie Channel Chasers. His early work in animation included designing characters for Histeria . [3]

After a year long hiatus in 2007, The Fairly OddParents returned for a sixth season to contain 20 episodes, which aired from February 18, 2008 to August 12, 2009. The season had one movie, Fairly OddBaby. This was the first season of the show to be co-produced by Billionfold Inc., along with Frederator Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studio. It is the first season not to be distributed by Nelvana or air on Jetix or any Disney channels.

Brian Darrell "Luke" Brookshier is an American animator, storyboard artist, screenwriter, and director known for his work on Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants and he was nominated for an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Animated Program" for writing the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Wigstruck". Thomas Edward Warburton, better known as Mr. Warburton, is an American animator, producer, screenwriter, and character designer. He is best known for creating the animated television series Codename: Kids Next Door. He also created the animated short Kenny and the Chimp. Prior to that, he served as production designer on the first season of Beavis and Butt-Head and was the lead character designer for the animated series Pepper Ann. Nickelodeon is an Indian children's pay television channel based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is the Indian equivalent to the original American Network and is owned by Viacom18, a joint venture between Paramount Global and TV18. Despite using the "Nickelodeon" branding, it does not air any content from the original American network in recent times as part of a localisation strategy, and thus, original Nickelodeon content is only broadcast on the Nickelodeon HD+ channel.
