Steve Mouzakis is an Australian film, television and theatre actor. He is known for his role in the Spike Jonze film Where the Wild Things Are , Van Gogh in Prison Break , Steven Ray in the film The Suicide Theory , and performing alongside Joel Edgerton and Sean Harris as Paul in the 2022 film The Stranger .
Mouzakis studied Arts and Engineering at university before being accepted into the Victorian College Of The Arts to study acting.[ citation needed ]
He graduated winning the Irene Mitchell Award for Outstanding Achievement for his portrayal of William Shakespeare's Pericles, in a production directed by George Ogilvie.[ citation needed ]
He was cast in Christos Tsiolkas' Viewing Blue Poles, performed at the Fitzroy Gallery in Melbourne and moving to the Belvoir St. Theatre in Sydney. [1] [2]
His first television role came as that of Paolo in The Secret Life of Us . He was next cast by director Jonathan Liebesman in the horror film Darkness Falls released in 2003.[ citation needed ]
His interest however in smaller and more personal films led to his performances in the short films Mona Lisa and 296 Smith Street. This brought him to the attention of the director Spike Jonze for his adaptation of the children's story Where the Wild Things Are . [ citation needed ]
Mouzakis has had a number of roles in television series such as Rolf in Very Small Business , Andrew Petrious in The Slap , Chris Baros in Killing Time , Theo Kallergis in Blue Heelers and Paolo in The Secret Life of Us . Other feature film credits include Darkness Falls (Sony Pictures), Big Mamma's Boy, and I, Frankenstein (Lionsgate).[ citation needed ]

Andrew Jordt Robinson is an American actor and the former director of the Master of Fine Arts acting program at the University of Southern California. Originally a stage actor, he works predominantly in supporting roles on television and in low-budget films. He is known for his portrayals of the psychotic serial killer Scorpio in Dirty Harry (1971), Larry Cotton in the horror film Hellraiser (1987), and Elim Garak in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993–1999). He and his wife Irene have a daughter, actress Rachel Robinson, who appeared in Deep Space Nine episode "The Visitor".
Pericles, Prince of Tyre is a Jacobean play written at least in part by William Shakespeare and included in modern editions of his collected works despite questions over its authorship, as it was not included in the First Folio. It was published in 1609 as a quarto, was not included in Shakespeare's collections of works until the third folio, and the main inspiration for the play was Gower's Confessio Amantis. Various arguments support the theory that Shakespeare was the sole author of the play, notably in DelVecchio and Hammond's Cambridge edition of the play, but modern editors generally agree that Shakespeare was responsible for almost exactly half the play — 827 lines — the main portion after scene 9 that follows the story of Pericles and Marina. Modern textual studies suggest that the first two acts, 835 lines detailing the many voyages of Pericles, were written by a collaborator, who may well have been the victualler, panderer, dramatist and pamphleteer George Wilkins. Wilkins published The Painful Adventures of Pericles Prince of Tyre which is the prose version of the story, and drew from Lawrence Twines' The Pattern of Painful Adventures. Pericles was one of the seventeen plays that were in print during Shakespeare's life, and was reprinted 5 times between 1609 and 1635.
